James was excellent, with a very comprehensive report and took the time to explain the results of the survey. Communication was free flowing and his advice was essential in aiding my decision making on a house purchase.

James completed our survey when purchasing our historic Grade 2 listed thatched cottage. His know age and guidance was invaluable in understanding the areas we needed to work on first and the jobs that could be longer term. His report was clear with just the level of detail that was needed. His was responsive to all communication and extremely helpful. I can recommend his services to anyone looking for a survey on a more traditional historic building.

We were a little concerned about the time the report took, but when it came, the wait was worth it. Very concise, constructive, clear statements. Photos of good quality and helped with the descriptions of areas not necessarily visible from the ground i.e the roof and gutters. All in all a very useful tool for us to use with our adventure into house renovation. Thank you James, much appreciated and we are very happy with the report.

James gave us a fairly comprehensive report regarding our damp problem. However I would have liked more advice regarding contractors to carry out any remedial work.
The rebuild report was useful in negotiations with house insurance companies.

The report supplied by James met our requirement to undertake a roof survey of our recently constructed residential dwelling by a RCIS qualified surveyor supported with photographic evidence from a user controlled drone. The report was both meticulous and comprehensive. It identified the probable sources of various suspected issues and also included other potential issues which we had not considered. Very pleased with the report.
