I would not recommend his service.

I initially hired Felix van Erven, trading under Fvebouw and James Morris Keukens en Interieur, to renovate my bathroom and toilet. In the beginning, I felt positive about the project because he seemed to understand the style we wanted and helped source materials, which gave the impression that the job would be completed to a good standard.

Because of that early experience, I recommended him to several friends before my own work had fully finished. I now deeply regret doing so.

As the project went on, the standard of work dropped significantly. Parts of the job were poorly finished, some items were not completed properly, and resolving issues became frustrating. Communication also became difficult when problems needed attention.

What concerns me most is that friends I recommended him to also had bad experiences. Some were left with unfinished work and lost money.

This whole experience has been very disappointing and upsetting, especially because I trusted him enough to recommend him to people I know.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this contractor.

Unfinished work, missing items and poor communication - James Morris Keukens en Interieur

I had a very disappointing experience with Felix van Erven, operating under Fvebouw and James Morris Keukens en Interieur (jamesmorris.nl) in Valkenswaard.

The work was not completed as agreed. Partway through the project, communication stopped entirely and my calls and messages went unanswered. I had to repeatedly chase just to get a response and eventually to have my house key returned.

In addition, I paid in full for wardrobe doors which were never delivered and I am still without them.

The workmanship that was completed was also of poor quality. In particular, the paint finish on the wardrobes, kitchen, and shelving unit was very poor, with visible issues across multiple areas.

Overall, this was a very frustrating experience involving unfinished work, lack of communication, and missing items despite payment.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend using this contractor and would advise others to proceed with caution.
