They are a fraudulent organisation that will do anything to hold onto your money. Piece of advice: if they already have your money, write them cc FCA, request a chargeback from your bank and raise case with ombudsmen services. Do not try to discuss on the phone with them; keep every communication via email as you will need this to make your case. When you contact these authorities, attached this links for customer discontent, your correspondence with them and screen shots. They will try to weasel out of it and say did not provide the right documentation etc. and you have not been responding. You need to proof them wrong otherwise your money is gone. That is what I did to get it back.

Formal Complaint Regarding Withheld Funds and Poor Service
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern over the handling of a recent transaction. My brother, who resides in the UK, sent me money to cover my wife's urgent hospital expenses. Unfortunately, it has been almost a week now, yet the funds have not been released to me, and no reasonable explanation has been provided.
This delay has caused significant distress and inconvenience. In Ghana, many medical facilities require payment before treatment, and such a delay could have had serious, even life-threatening consequences. It is extremely disheartening that what was meant to support a medical emergency has been withheld without justification.
I consider this level of service highly unprofessional and unacceptable. I respectfully urge you to investigate this matter urgently and release the funds immediately. No one should have to endure such a painful and frustrating experience.

My Experience with IZI SEND – Please Read Before Using
I’m sharing my personal experience so others can be aware.
I registered with IZI Send and sent money to Ghana on 19/07/2025 to help my brother. Shortly after, I was asked to provide my ID and source of funds, which I did immediately. However, the transfer was held until my brother also submitted his ID — which he did, and the transaction went through.
Sadly, my relative in Ghana recently suffered a stroke and urgently needs medical care. Hospitals there require upfront payment (“cash and carry”), and the money I sent was meant to help him get treatment.
Despite providing all requested documents, my transaction was delayed for more than seven days. During that time, I tried to reach the company but couldn’t get a response by phone or via email. Eventually, the transaction was cancelled without clear explanation.
Because of the delay, I not only lost time but also faced a worse exchange rate — it dropped from £15.23 to £14.23. I was never informed that the funds were under any kind of review, which was extremely frustrating and distressing.
My money has not be refunded for me even to resend it via another provider.
This experience has caused emotional and financial hardship, and I sincerely hope no one else faces this kind of situation.
I hope the company will not do this to any other customer and they will take responsibility for the impact this has had on my family.
Please always research and confirm reliability before using any money transfer service — especially when the funds are urgently needed for loved ones.

Fraudulent activity
I sent money through the app and i got the most horrible experience ever. The money was sent on the 3/10/2025 and up to date the recipient has not got it. I tried their contact number, email and whatsapp messages but none of them was responded to. They blocked my number from contacting them and falsified the status on the app that the money was sent and delivered but that was false. Till now nothing has been said about it. I begged them that the money was for a family member’s surgery and asked if they could refund the money but i received no response. They are insensitive and i would not recommend anyone using it. They have duped me and next step is to report them to the police as fraud.

Criminal organisation that will steal your money
If I could give a negative rating I would. Please do not use them. I had to report them to my bank and FCA for keeping my money for weeks. They claim they needed source proof which I gave them -they had my bank statement and I pointed them to the source of money. Their customer service kept calling me during my sleeping hours as they operate from India. Please avoid them or suffer the same fate like me.

Poooor service, for some reasons after sending the money they don't answer your calls nor text

I started using this service after a trusted friend recommended it.
My first transaction was hell. After going through all the verification processes in the app, they still texted me on WhatsApp to send the verification documents again before the transaction went through.
Since then, with every transaction they text and request for my bank statement and payslip before processing the payment.
After my last transaction went through after 48 hours, I vowed not to use their services again.
Never be fooled by their high rate
After several days they are still saying there is a delay. I think we all want best rate that’s how they managed to allure customers into their appalling services. They have been holding onto money and not answering my messages. I honestly cannot believe this is in the UK. Never trust the best rate, it’s all a scam.

Well it has been an horrible experience indeed. I would never advise any friends or family or relations to download the app or get themselves involved.. I made a payment since 24th of September 2025 and as today being 4th of October 2025 which is 10 days later, the status of the transfer has been on "ok" no money was sent out and they have refused to refund me. It's like a dream to me even up till this very moment.
