Absolutely garbage
Absolutely garbage, they closed my account without any notice, with my money lost in it, and said they can't reactivate my account and that I will have to create a new one. This means all my transaction details and money are lost. How is this firm still operating?

Doesn't allow you to trade all stocks
Although for the vast majority of trades the platform works well and they are easy to contact. They often decide not to allow you to trade certain stocks. Meaning you will miss out.
For example. They have decided that you can't trade Abbvie, which has gone up around 100% in 5 years and pays 3.7% dividend each year (at time of writing).
Abbvie, based in the US is one of the biggest Pharmaceutical companies in the world. A small number of their products contain cannabis which is illegal in the UK. However this is for medicinal purposes and unlikely to be illegal. I and many invest globally in stocks, it's not just about the UK.
It should be down to the individual as a customer to make the decision as to whether a company is immoral or high risk as a entity. This is subjective.

Only had a great experience with iweb
Only had a great experience with iweb. The site is minimal and allows me to check my investment once every few months.
Had a great experience with customer service who adjusted my cost basis from transfers. They are currently the best offering in terms of big name provider for security and low cost fees on ISA being 0.
Hopefully the new SIPP fees are competitive so I may use that function later once the financials of it make sense. I will gladly use the SIPP if the costs are lower than Dodl.
Overall simple interface to save costs and great for buy and hold investors AKA what everyone should be doing.
Stick to the basics and keep the costs low please.

Easy to use website
Easy to use website, friendly staff via chat or phone when needed & low cost. It does not have an app, but the services that do are more expensive so happy to have lower costs.

Reluctant to pay out
I have had an iWeb SIPP for many years. I am attempting to obtain a pension commencement ("tax-free"), lump sum. So far, the process has taken two months. I have cash lying idle while they earn interest on it.
No one at iWeb (actually Halifax), will take any responsibility for SIPP-related matters. Their SIPP product is "administered" by AJ Bell, whatever that means, which allows AJ Bell to hide behind iWeb.
Update:
Within two working days of posting this, I received a reply to my complaint from the AJ Bell team and obtained payment. Maybe that was coincidental. Others can draw their own conclusions if they find themselves in a similar situation. No one at iWeb proper replied to the complaint I made to them.

Easy! I am satisfied with IWeb!
I am satisfied with IWeb. I find my account clearly displayed and easy to buy and sell. I like the additional savings and investment information they make available useful in managing my money. IWeb technology is reliable as I have not noticed any glitches in my account.

Took months to move my pension
Took months to move my pension. Then iweb couldn't attach my pension to my existing account because they didn't have my middle name, which I would certainly have filled in. Their chat took ages, then directed me to phone, then no result, then hours on chat again with the operator purposely trying to mislead me about accounts. Still waiting with my money trapped and at a loss.

I had a simple query to resolve to do with an incorrect book cost after a share transfer, and they resolved it very easily and efficiently straight away with the online chat function.

Just work, simple, reasonable price and effective. Just what I need.

Poor communication.
Good deal on commission charges, however it dose not pay interest on money that is on deposit. So most people holding ISA monies not fully invested they are loosing out.
Very poor communication. No annual paper staments in post.
Very clumsy email notification.
When a trade has been executed. No mention of the name of the company or what you have bought or sold.
Just says your trade has been executed. Come on Halifax you should be able to do better than that.

Since Iweb and Halifax are the same…
Since Iweb and Halifax are the same share dealing service (Halifax has higher fees), can I transfer my Halifax account to Iweb and retain the Halifax trading history? If so is there a fee for doing this.

Your reply is not helpful
If i contact you by any of the methods you suggested yesterday (and incidentally the email address you have supplied looks wrong - can't you even get that right?!!!), those teams will say they can't help with specific account enquiries, and will tell me to phone and go through to security to speak to an account adviser. This person will look at my account and tell me they can't see any problem from your end. They will not flag the problem and get it corrected for future. Your suggestions are just wasting more of my time.
They might offer to transfer the money for me. But this isn't what i want from an online account. I want to do it myself, whenever i want. Otherwise why have an online account? And why do i need a debit card registered with you if you always prevent me from using it? I am not alone on this. I have read other reviews - other iweb customers can't transfer money. Some have tried with more than one card, and still can't do it.
EDIT after reading S's reply:
NO NO NO
I already know from previous experience - if i contact you as requested, you will tell me there is no error your end, and you won't fix anything, so i will have exactly the same problem next time. It is your problem - you have some problem with debit cards - kindly get on and fix it. You do not need my specific details to do this
