Annoyed

I am so annoyed that you would not take my bank card for payment or direct from my bank account or PayPal… I would have moved my domain name to GoDaddy but it would be very challenging technically. I had to use my sister in laws bank card to pay for my domain name. I paid for two years and am hoping you will have added other ways to take payment by then or next time I WILL move my domain name to another company.

Changing bill details

I received many mails to change my payment card which is good but then it was hard for me to find in your site where to change it. I finally succeeded but I think you can and should make it easier. Thanks

Amazing Support

I'm a "basic" user---not tech savvy and moreover often intimidated by the interface(s). I Want My Name is straightforward, transparent, and *super* helpful. Any time I have needed support to get a domain hosted on a different platform, they respond and have a solution within 12 hours. I have been a faithful user for over 10 years and don't see myself ever changing.

Would reconsider and go elsewhere

Would reconsider and go elsewhere. Plenty of other cheaper options with fantastic customer support.

I really liked iwantmyname when I signed up. They seemed small, independent, likeable, and have let my domains sit there for a while.

I was looking around for cheaper options, and in wanting to save some money at the moment, I want to move away from them.

This is when you see the true colours of a company.

If I set my domains to auto-renew or turn it off, it works perfectly. However, I now want to unlock my domains to transfer, and to my surprise, it flags an unhelpful "error" message. Meaning I have no idea why it's happening. Therefore, I cannot unlock my domains, no idea why, and customer support aren't helpful at all. They said they would forward this to the tech team, but surely this is part of running a registrar business. Options on the control panel should work, and an error should be flagged and fixed.

I don't recommend signing up to them. You're in for expensive renewals in the future, and if you even want to leave them, good luck! Would just avoid altogether.

Terrible Customer Support

IWantMyName has to be one of the worst, if not the worst domain provider I have ever worked with. It has taken weeks to resolve a basic login issue after a former staff member left, we have provided countless pieces of evidence each time and have been left waiting for days if not weeks each time for a reply. There are so many other domain options please don't use this one.
