Tuscany April 2026, with Josephine and Sophie
I loved our 4 star hotel called Hotel Torretta in the Tuscan town of Montecatini Terme, near Lucca. I enjoyed swimming in the pool and the water jets in the whirlpool felt relaxing! The staff was very friendly and our group often sat together there after dinner to enjoy recounting all of the diverse activities we had experienced throughout the days…. Of course in Italian! Our young teachers had plenty of energy for our group o 20+ participants and led the speaking activities and excursions professionally. I liked the learning games that we played and the social interaction in Italian made it both fun to learn in an active and in a passive way too. Trying to speak Italian 100% of the day was a challenge, but through the many excursions it made it fun and natural ! Our language teachers were a joy to work with and I liked their teamwork! Taking the local train was nice and it built my confidence up for more trips to come!
