Don’t buy from United colours of Benetton

I ordered a cardigan on January 6th up until now nothing had been delivered, I have phoned this horrid company everyday to get my refund and the customer service staff keep changing their story and say the parcel is two hours away from the warehouse or they say it is at the warehouse, they give no timeframe for a refund and lie about giving a refund. I’m really fed up with them and will now be taking legal action

Terrible customer service

Makes no sense. I was told by Laura and Elisa (obviously no surname or ref no
Provided) that my parcel had arrived in the warehouse but couldn’t be located. I was asked to check w my tracker which said my parcel had been delivered! And still no refund. Ridiculous. Never had such gruelling experience with customer service. Didn’t use their own UPS service as no info provided so had To pay for My own courier service (which I do not expect to be refunded for)- just want my refund for the coat. DONT BUY FROM BENETTON! Read all their reviews. Majority are one star. All for customer service!! Don’t be tempted by them.

It is also stated in our "Terms & Conditions of Sale", article 6.

Benetton demand break COVID lockdown rules

Organised to return 2 items, 2 weeks later items returned to me my UPS with no explanation. Phd benetton and told me was because no proforma invoice - they hadn't supplied one nor told me i needed one at time. They have emaiiled proforma invoice and new return label despite me saying i don't have access to printer and asking they post them. Have refused to post. They have suggested i go knocking on doors of neighbours to get printed. Nevermind the risk of a woman going knocking on doors of strangers and inviting themselves in, they seem oblivious that we are in the midst of a global pandemic and have been in lockdown for most of last year and are expressly forbidden from mixing households.

I am still waiting for two…

I am still waiting for two reimbursements. It is very upsetting. At first I received information that my order was canceled and also the payment which is not true after contacting my bank. I had to call customer service to finally get information that they received two payments but still I am waiting for over a month for reimbursements.. Still nothing.

Affordable good quality clothes

I bought a long wool coat from them on the 18th of January, it arrived after 5 days and I really like it. Benetton has affordable good quality clothing, I still have some of their merino jumpers that are more than 5 years old and are still in good condition with no pilling

Terrible

Terrible - have had to report them to Trading Standards. I was supposed to receive my order in 2 to 5 working days, but after one month it still hasn't arrived. They have lied to me and said their courier has delivered it, however UPS have admitted that they can't prove they have done so. Would steer well clear of this company.

Awful

They didn't include a return label, yet expect me to somehow procure one. They also didn't ask me if it was okay that one of my items wasn't available before just shipping out the others. If they had, I could've told them I didn't want the other item that I am now in this annoying predicament with regard to returning. Terrible customer service.

Really poor

Really poor. Never using again. No returns label included in package. Unable to arrange a return with their carrier without one. Rang up put through told was probably left out because of Brexit. They told me because of my countries situation I would need a 3 page document I would need to print out and attach to package. But there is no returns number on it so I am unable to book the collection as the carrier cannot book the collection in without. Rang for second time said they would send a label. Feel I was being fobbed off. No one has! Wish me luck third time lucky ringing tomorrow. Terrible customer service.

Scandalous

Scandalous. Bought a trouser, should be my size but still somehow 2 size smaller. Nevermind. Wanted to return but benetton and dpd website says it's in transit, even if I've received the parcel a few days before this. Sent an email asking them to help me create return. That was in the beginning of December 2020. Then sent another email a few days later, still no reply to any. How can this company still exist with "customer service" like this? Never ever again.

Awful and incompetent customer…

Awful and incompetent customer service. Benneton delievered a tshirt labeled 3XL but showed to be way smaller (I ordered 5 tshirts for my son same size and the other 4 was perfect). Since I trusted the size tag when unwrapping I cut them off (they scratch) and didn’t realize the mistake before my son tried to wear it. I returned the tshirt, wishing for one in the right size instead,- but only received accusations about washing the tshirt (I didn’t and it is easy to recognize washed cotton from unwashed cotton I would say) and customer service didn’t even bother to look into the order, apparently the costomers saying is worthless. Don’t buy from this website. Or this brand. Plenty of great childrens wear out there and I see here that I am not the first to say that Benneton should be ashamed of their customer service!

Needless stress, but in the end good item

They forgot to tell me that they sent my item.
I paid and for a week my order had no updates at all! I called customer service multiple times and nobody seemed to know anything. I was really stressed out. However, after a week of "processing order"I got email from UPS and received my order.

Only then I received email from benetton that my order has been shipped, with a link to UPS tracking system where it says "Delivered". Needless stress.

Piece of clothing came intact, correct size. Took 8 days from Italy to Lithuania. It's beautiful. Might buy again. P.s. better to create new acounts with every order for 15% subscription discount.

Horrible!

Horrible!! I bought a coat online and it didn’t fit well so I wanted to return it. But when I filled the return form it’s saying ‘It is not possible to request a return for this order’. I am shocked as when I was buying online there was no disclaimer about it at all.

Ordered 2 pair of Bermuda (one of those…

Ordered 2 pair of Bermuda (one of those pure linen) size 34... Unfortunately they were far too little... The return was quick and stress free. I've got the money back in my bank account the day after they received the items I had sent back.

The item I received was not the size I…

The item I received was not the size I ordered. Not even close. Lots of friendly graphics enclosed telling me how easy returns are. When I went on-line a few days after receiving the item it said returns had to be applied for within 24 hours of delivery and therefore a return wouldn't be accepted. Why didn't it say this in the delivery info?? Must be deliberate.

I feel like squeezing my under-carriage into them (28in waist shorts, I take a 34in) and parading around my local Benetton store to see what reaction I get. It wont be a pretty sight!!

This issue is unsolved since Dec 2019

This issue is unsolved since Dec 2019. Yes, 5 months ago, I bought 3 items. Then, return all those 3 items in the next day. 2 weeks later, they refunded me 2 of them. They didn't refund me the third item. I kept emails/calls them a hundred times since last Dec. They still no refund for the third one. So I have to contact my bank and ask for help. My bank can't help with anything, I contacted my bank many time, but they said it's unsolved since they can't contact with the seller or whatever reason. Such a hopeless in both ways. To be honest. I have to accept that I lost the money for purchasing Benetton online. I think this is a scam. I don't understand how can they maintain their business globally. This will be the last time I purchased item at Benetton. I don't think I will walk into any store of them. I can't support a business that untrustworthy no matter how good their products are.

ABSOLUTE SCAM - AVOID ONLINE PURCHASES AT ALL COSTS!!

Utterly appalled that such a global brand could have such a disgraceful returns process and customer service.

I received two of the same dress in different sizes, they didn't look like they did online, so I returned them in perfect, unworn condition, with tags attached the very next day. I got an email from Benetton two days later to say they received it at the warehouse and would be processing the return.

And then nothing. Absolute silence for over a MONTH despite me chasing multiple times by email and on the phone with no response whatsoever and no sign of my money.

Then after almost 5 weeks since they received it back, I get an email saying only one of the items is being refunded and the other 'has not been accepted.' No reason or explanation given.

The implication is that the item was returned in an unsaleable condition, which is COMPLETELY untrue and it makes no sense why one would be accepted and not the other when they were returned at the same time and are the exact same item.

I can only think that in the month of silence, they lost my returns, misplaced them or completely forgot about them. And now they have refused to process a refund either to cover their tracks for the delay, to cover up any dirt/damage that has been created by THEM during the item's month in the warehouse, to punish me for repeatedly chasing my money, or to outright steal my money. HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS??

I thought it was bad enough that online purchases from Benetton couldn't be returned in stores - now I see why - because the stores would give you a refund and be able to inspect the quality in front of you. They wouldn't be able to scam customers out of money.

I have asked for an explanation, evidence, and a reinspection/investigation but am back to stone cold silence from them and am losing hope I will ever get my money back.

It's a lot of money, but even more than that, it's the principle that they could do this, and judging by others' experiences, not just to me but repeatedly.

I have no interest in receiving the dress back, but doesn't it follow that if they are unable to 'accept' the return, they should send it back to me?? Currently I am without my money OR the dress.

I will NEVER buy from them again, online or otherwise.

Buyer be very much aware.
