This company takes your money, then no goods, now website has been taken down and no communication at all, e-mails bounce back

Ordered items which never arrived, company wouldn't provide refund and communication avenues are awful. Parent company is Aqualux. These people are just thieves.

Avoid like the plague! Placed an order for around £200 of lockcases and that was the last we heard!!! Been about 6 weeks since then and not a peep.
Customer service line is noted on the website as being available from 9-5, but there's no number anywhere!
Can't get any response no matter how much chasing on emails...seems like a bit of a fraudulent setup to me - take your money and run with it when they want to and feel like it.
DO NOT TRUST!

I ordered a small adaptor plate for a door closer but this company sent me an complete door closer instead. Fine, it's a simple mistake so I looked up their contact details to sort things out. Oddly the website tells you their Customer Services is open from 9 - 5 but they don't have a phone number and the live chat function does not work either. No problem I thought, I'll email them. So I did, but no reply. So I emailed them again and a third time over the course of a week. Still no reply.

I can only conclude that this company could not give a toss about their customers so my advice is to go somewhere else.

First Order.
Paid for pre 12 next day delivery to Scotland.
Computer confirmed delivery would be between 8 and 6pm.
Concerned I contacted company twice. “Oh yes you are down for pre 12 delivery.”
I contacted Dpd myself and they said they don’t deliver in Scotland until after 2pm and are going to deliver after 4pm.
Unfortunately it will be dark by then, so I can’t do the job!
Frustrating!
First and last order.
Oh, but they refunded the extra money I paid for pre 12 delivery.
They made no effort to contact me to let me know there was an issue.
I would have expected more of a gesture than that.
Not good.

Haven't received goods ordered - online search reveals parent company Laidlaw have gone bust.

Goods arrived within 24 hours and were well packed.

Website works well. Trouble free ordering. Next day delivery. Great.

Good service and communication from the staff but stock shortages of pretty basic items will result in us eventually not using ironmongery & more.

Standard handles, closers and dead bolts are some of the items that have been out of stock lately. With the other online competition available this is going to result in lots of lost trade
