Terrible customer experience.

Dear Iris Galerie Team,

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with the experience I had today at your Copenhagen store on Strøget.

I entered the store with my wife and my 3-year-old son just to have a look and possibly make a purchase. I asked about the price and then went to ask my wife which one she liked best. When I told the manager that I would come back later, he replied in a very rude and unprofessional manner, saying that next time I should go to a café instead because I was “not really interested,” and that I should not come into the store again.

I was truly shocked by the lack of professionalism and empathy shown by Jacob Peterson. His attitude was disrespectful and completely out of line for a brand that positions itself as premium.

I intend to share my negative experience publicly, as I believe it is important for companies to be aware of how their representatives treat customers.

I am extremely disappointed and will not return to make any purchase from your brand.

False advertising & awful customer support

We usually don’t post negative reviews, but our experience with Iris Galerie Barcelona has been extremely disappointing. We purchased two readings including the jewellery package, and at no point were informed the charms did not come with a chain to wear. Even after indicating we wanted the gold chains. The advertising in the store says “discover your sign and wear it with you.” Very misleading!!! After we left the store, we opened our boxes to wear our new jewellery, and there was no chain inside. We went back to check, maybe the sales person forgot? She then informed us the chains were not included and that we would have to spend additional money to purchase the chains. This was never mentioned before!!! They refused to give us a refund. She gave us email for customer support- We have sent numerous emails to customer support with absolutely no reply. It’s impossible to get a hold of any customer support. This has tainted what would have been a fun experience. The unwearable charms cost us 30 euros each. Very poor customer service. The sales assistant never sent us our digital receipts or copies of our readings, which is what was agreed upon. This is what we paid for. It’s also against European consumer law to refuse a refund when the product is not as advertised. Be careful when buying from this company, other customers are taking this company to small claims court!!! I don’t care if this is the Scandinavian store, they are all under the same company who states NO REFUNDS for anything! Absolutely against the law.

Beware

Beware! Very deceitful company. We received an email of our order which included an end product "photo", including each of our names. It arrived with no names and they refused to take responsibility for their error. Total ripoff for ~$500

Cheshire Oaks Outlet Amazing

In store experience at the Cheshire Oaks outlet store was brilliant. Staff we're all lovely and very courteous. They explain all of the choices we had thoroughly and clearly and all with beaming smiles. Advised there's a waiting time for the delivery which is absolutely fine. Looking forward to having my delivery.

Do not use this company! Item not received!

Paid for item from Brighton store over two months ago and still waiting. Terrible company. Avoid at all costs. They're refusing a refund even though delivery time was supposed to be two weeks. We are reporting to Trading Standards and will take to Small Claims Court.

Overpriced, low quality

The guy who took our picture really muffled his words. It seemed he didnt want us to know the true price until we couldn't back out. The picture was beautiful on screen, but the print quality and the quality of the digital one are quite bad, if im being honest. We truly feel scammed, how is taking a picture, printing and cutting it 79€? Excuse me? This is mental. I feel they are extremely over priced pictures, for what kind of "work" actually goes into this. With the picture framed it would've cost more, this is outrageous, please, if you want to save nearly 100€, dont let them take your picture at Iris Galerie, its not worth it.

Refused to give me a refund for a…

Refused to give me a refund for a faulty product. 2 photos of my left & right eye, the left eye wasnt mine, i asked for pure un edited photos too, which wasnt the case. Dark low quality product.
I paid 125£ for frame too big, plastic scratched, & the wrong eye. & rude staff.
U.K. Brighton avoid.
I'm now having to take this further, to get my money back.
It seems there a.dodgy franchise as I'm seeing in other countries that same problems.
Although they offered to retake the photos of my left eye, after the rudeness & Lies, I just wanted my money back.
Would also be worth questioning what they do with our eye identification... wouldn't be surprised if there selling this information on to databases.
Be carefull people.
Avoid this place. There are better non franchise places you can go to, that offer far better quality and service.

I would give no stars if I could

I would give no stars if I could. Ordered an expensive acrylic, but unless you have gallerie standard lighting in your home the picture will look dull and dark and not a crisp image - nothing like you see displayed in their shops. Has not been resolved after numerous backwards and forwards with rubbish customer services taking months and a replacement picture. Also charged customs fees extra without being told beforehand. Don't have this done with iris gallerie especially if you live on the UK - find another company that does it.
And yes this is on the Denmark site because they seem to have removed the UK one - probably because of all the negative reviews !

Bad customer service

I ordered a picture featuring my family's eyes. While it looked great in the gallery, the delivered picture was disappointing. One of the irises, being the darkest, blended completely into the black background and became nearly invisible. Trying to resolve the issue was incredibly frustrating. It was difficult to get in touch with customer service, and when I contacted the gallery, they redirected me to an email, claiming they couldn’t help. The email communication was slow, with responses taking at least a week, making the process feel like a waste of time. After much effort, we finally went back to the gallery in person. They took a new picture, resent it, and we received an updated version. The overall experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this service based on the lack of customer support and lengthy resolution process.

AWFUL COMPANY

I placed my order on August 4th 2024.
I finally received my art work a month later, the art work did not work as the light box was faulty. I contacted customer services who asked for video proof. On the 17th september I chased for a response, they advised they didnt watch the video in good time so the link expired so I had to resend. On the 23rd September they closed my ticket without resolution, so I had to call again. After repeated attempts to resolve this issue, they finally send an email to advise a replacement product had been sent on the 15th October, this arrived on 19th November (over a month later). To my surprise the order sent to me was for 3 brown eyes, this was not my art work as I have blue eyes!! Not only was this the wrong art work, this light box also did not work! I requested a refund , and was advised that this was not company policy. I reminded Iris Galerie that under consumer law I was entitled to a full refund as I had given them the opportunity to remedy the issue and they had failed again! They finally offered a refund on 20th November and to date after numerous emails and phone calls I still dont have my refund! This is honestly the worst service I have ever received. This company has such a beautiful product but the company is a complete shambles. I personally wish I hadnt bothered as the company has just caused me stress! I am still waiting for my refund and for the company to pay the interest I have incurred since August, It seems the only solution is legal action!

Worst customer experience I've ever had

Disgraceful. The entire process.

The first one I recieved had no coloring on the edges and looked nothing like the pictures that were taken.

Then I contacted them again with my concern, and was assured they would fix it and send me a new one. The first order I placed with them was August 12th, now it's December 4th and I'VE STILL NOT RECIEVED MY NECKLACE. This was supposed to be a birthdaygift for someone in November.

So they deliver a bad product, and then do not prioritize at all to deliver a new one. More than two months to create a new one. The customer service is of no help, as they just give empty words of how they care about my concerns. This is not a serious company. They overcharge, dont care about customers at all and deliver poor products that takes forever to get.

Steer clear of these jokesters.

Same experience as the other…

Same experience as the other disgruntled customers.
Experienced Iris Galerie in Paris. Upon returning home I received an email stating they needed to take another picture of my eye as the copy wasn’t good enough! All very odd as I had my eye photographed twice as the original picture was not acceptable to the artist at the time. They expect you to pay your own travel expenses to their nearest U.K. store for another photo of my eye to be taken, Seriously!
Their Customer Policy of ‘ No Refunds’ is unacceptable, especially as they are not going to supply my purchase so I will leave it in the safe hands of my credit card company to rectify this abomination.
Regardless of the reply from ‘ Denmark’ This is a Franchised business with the same non refund ethics as the rest of! Prove me wrong and use your Danish authority and have my monies refunded and appease the other disgruntled customers worldwide?

Order won't arrive: stay away!

Item ordered and paid for on 25 October; promised delivery within 2 weeks; it is now 23 November and there is no sign of the item. Their hopeless customer services, when they bother responding, thinks that their excuse of a "surge in requests" has any relevancy. It does not. A request for a refund has been refused despite the product not arriving in time to be gifted as an anniversary present, with the unacceptable justification, "... that in accordance with our established policy and due to the unique nature of the product no refunds are possible." So, no product and no refund. I hope soon there will be no company.

Lucky Bag Pendant

We paid £110 for a pendant, it looked quite nice in the shop.

After a long wait the pendant arrived. It was almost indistinguishable from the prizes you get from the £1 egg machines at fairs.

Shockingly bad quality and a complete ripoff.

We ordered ours from Camden.
When it arrived, the perspex picture didn't fit in the light box. We sent an email to the address given and they seemed to be quick to respond by saying that they would send another perspex print.
The next thing we get is a bill from Revenue and customs saying that we can only have it if we pay £196.
We have sent another email telling them about this and they've gone quiet.

Really poor experience

Really poor experience. Waiting 2 months and still with no artwork, after ordering on a MSC cruise. I just got it’s coming, yell DHL tracker stuck on awaiting unit, now all I get from Iris Galerie is that they are escalating. Now going to demand a refund as this is ridiculous Would avoid ordering from this company. No offer of compensation or equivilent.

Very poor customer service. Avoid if you live in UK

We ordered a framed picture at the shop in Camden, London, in August. It arrived, and while the quality wasn't as good as we were hoping for (for the price) it is still a nice piece of art. HOWEVER, we then recieved a second bill from FedEx charging us for VAT and other handling fees. We had already paid for VAT and all shipping to our address in the UK, and at no point did they tell us that the picture would be coming from abroad, or that there would be extra charges. Iris Galerie were very difficult to get hold of and didn't answer their phone line. When we got through by email they initially refused to pay for any of this, meaning we were paying twice. Then when they eventually agreed to cover these extra fees, they failed to refund us the correct amount and refunded in Euros, not pounds stirling that we had bought in. The whole process has taken weeks and been very stressful, and we are still out of pocket. Very disappointing.
