Regarding the issue described, our goal is total transparency. Pricing for all ‘Optional Services’ is posted on the Pricing pages on our website, and you can find additional location specific details next to each address listing. Our strategy is to charge the lowest monthly mailbox fee possible and then charge customers only for the optional services they choose, like shipping, scanning mail content or mail pickup. We believe this is the fairest way to price, so people who don’t need optional services do not subsidize the people that do.

I’m a pretty optimistic person, so none of this was a disaster — but my experience with iPostal1 wasn’t as smooth as I expected. I had sign‑up issues at first, and later ran into confusion with the USPS forms. The instructions weren’t clear, and because I couldn’t submit the form manually due to my location, I had to use their service and pay an extra $25. Not a huge amount, but something I wish had been communicated upfront.It took about three weeks from signing up to having a working mailbox. The in‑person staff were very pleasant, but unfortunately not very knowledgeable, which made the process more complicated than it needed to be. Everything is finally in place now, though I haven’t received any mail yet to see how the service functions.I’m sharing this because none of the reviews I read beforehand mentioned any of these delays or extra steps, and it would’ve been helpful to know.

The USPS requires that the Form 1583 be notarized to help prevent fraud, protecting both you and the mail center. Many mail centers allow you to sign the form in their presence, in which case notarization may not be required. To notarize your form without going to your mail center, you need to use the online notary service for $25. Our goal is total transparency. Information about sign up steps and the notary fee is listed throughout our website.
