The cathalogue was confusing: To see the paintings of day 1, I could simply click on a sample painting - no problem. But for day 2 there seemed to be no paintings. Only after asking did I discover t... See more

The auction house does not exist
The auction house does not exist.
I was notified that I won a bid for a Joan Miro Lithograph. I contacted the auction house to arrange shipping to discover the auction house address is a derelict building. The phone number and email address do not exist,
Sucharge at Nadeau's Auction House
excellent auction - well catalogued and managed. Would be rated a 5 of 5 if the auction house - Nadeau's had not inserted an "other charge" into their invoice. The nice young man told me that the owner of Nadeau's decided to charge $25.00 extra to all customers on top of commission, tax, etc. for profit. No shipping assistance included.
Wire transfer payment requirement not on auction website
I carefully read the payment options before bidding on this US auction from Canada. The write up from the auction house on the Invaluable website listed the usual payment options. However, after I bid on and won a lot in the Material Culture auction, I received an invoice that stated that out of country bidders have to pay by wire transfer. Wire transfers are very expensive and very complicated to arrange. They have to be arranged in person at a bank, and many bank employees do not even know how to do them as they are so rarely used. If I had known this in advance, I would not have bid.
Awful billing
Pretty impossible to pay for your lots even if you want to.
Invaluable was excellent
Invaluable was excellent. The auction I bid on via this platform, Quinn's Auction Gallery in Falls Church, VA, was less professional, e.g. 1) Some of the listings were confusing (illustrations did not match the descriptions) 2) It was very difficult to reach anyone there to clarify 3) They listed the pick-up time as 10am-5:30pm but arriving at 4pm we were told, come back tomorrow.
Unable to get up with anyone after sale with questions and expectation to pay w/in 3 days
You see invoice day after bidding and you cannot get anyone at auction house-- not good.. Payment expected in 3 days--not very good for buyer when have questions and you cannot get up with anyone at Auction house.I am tired of being forced to pay through Invaluable online payment platform and paying extra fees for doing so,

I find the site showing easy access to the auction and bidding was particularly easy due to the big boxes you could tick to do your bid.
Terrible Experience
I had a terrible experience with invaluable. I made a successful bid on an item, I won it during live auction which was being streamed. I took the screenshot of my winning bid and logged back few hours later only to find out I did not win. I got in touch with invaluable but they washed their hands off and owned no responsibility and asked me to contact auction house directly. There was no notification of my bid being successful or unsuccessful and no update on it at all.

Not what I would like to be a part of !!
I wanted a "sold " value on a piece of art, the website says sign in to view the sold price, I created an account, signed up for emails and signed in, then it says upgrade to view price!! If there is one thing I dislike is being misleaded
I was very disappointed that a bidder…
I was very disappointed that a bidder on the floor’s bid was given preferential treatment over my absentee bid. I will not participate in future events associated with this auction house.
Verify Before Bid w Magnifying Glass
My experience with InValuable has always been ACCURATE AND FUN except with the OHIO auction experience.
In the Bid description, they stated Ring #1 was a 14k Gold & diamond ring. I took their word. After time to examine closely sadly after my winning bid , the Results inside Ring was NOT stamped w the 14k Gold stamp but only letters thus no “14k”. I started my bidding late as I had just found the auction for the day, and hopped on with no time for deep research since in the past INVALUABLE had been upfront in their descriptions. I had many purchases! Only once did I have an issue, and the Vendor was very happy to make it good even after I got it at my house and closely examined it. However , this was not the case with this Ohio vendor! The Ring was not as described, and I Need proof this is a 14k Ring prior to paying for the winning bid ! This Ohio vendor provided NO physical proof even after my lengthy call to them but to be fair they said THEIR test proved 14k . As a reseller, my customers will not accept ‘ just my word’, sorry! I have to provide them with stamped 14k inside the ring or possibly a letter of authentication.
#2 Ring- Bid was written up as 14k Gold & diamond ring but stamped beside the 14k stamp INSIDE the RING “992” a stamp of notification that ring is SILVER!!!! Please Look up “992”. Silver was NOT listed in the bid description for the 14k Gold/ diamond ring that I bid/won. I Contacted INVALUABLE Corporate Customer service for this OHIO Vendor and the Customer Service said the 14j ring was a ‘SILVER and GOLD’ but I did NOT BID for a ‘SILVER’ ring but only 14k/diamond ring ! Even In today’s world , i did not think Silver is classified as a 14k gold ring? I BID only for 14k GOLD RING W Diamonds. NOTHING IN DESCRIPTION about the 14k ring having any SILVER or having silver mixed ! Told Corporate CUSTOMER SERVICE what the OHIO CO Stated, that if I did not pay for those items, they would list me as having a bad debt, etc even though I am trying to work with them to take those items off my bid wins as info WAS NOT ACCURATE In description. Sad as was, experience was to be a Fun and enjoyable but turned into a bad - sad time with this OHIO VENDOR.
