Once again, we have taken part in one of the hiking trips organized by Intura Travel, and once again we have been completely satisfied with their offering. This time we went walking in the Alentejo region of Portugal. I believe that spring is the best time to explore that area, as it is full of flowers everywhere. The landscapes are gentle, and the trails are easy to walk.

The accommodations were good, especially the Convento de São Paulo de Ossa—very comfortable, full of history, and with a delicious dinner. Transportation also worked perfectly, and the logistical support from the Intura staff in Portugal was outstanding.

In short, if you want to enjoy peaceful walks among flowers and stay in picturesque villages rich in history, this is an excellent option. And of course, a couple of nights in Lisbon, wandering through its intricate streets and enjoying an evening of fado music, make a perfect ending to this trip

I had always wanted to do an inn to inn walking experience and this company had the perfect combination of reasonable daily distances at a very reasonable price. The 6 of us had a great time, and the one problem we encountered was solved quickly by Nadia even though it was almost 7pm when we reported it. The route info was detailed, given in both digital and hard copy form, and took us through fabulous Luberon landscapes. Looking forward to doing another one!

We just returned from a fabulous walking holiday (Inn to Inn) organized by Intura travel. I cannot recommend them highly enough! Transfers, hotels, meals provided went without any hitch (one encountered, solved immediately by Nadia at Intura). Would highly recommend and look forward to exploring their other options. As they say, JUST DO IT

We have recently completed an organised hiking trip for 10 days in Provence Lubéron with four friends.
The whole trip was well organised with hotels, meals and transfers between stays.
I highly recommend Intura and would use them again.

I just returned from an 11-day hiking trip to Cape Verde with a group of 12. Isabelle at Intura helped me customize this trip and provided us with an extremely detailed portfolio. She was always available and the trip was a great success.

My husband and I have just returned from a superb holiday in Cape Verde. We usually organise our holidays ourselves but were really pleasantly surprised how well Intura were able organise our walking holiday for us in Sao Antao. The choice of routes was excellent, the taxi support efficient, the hotels/guest houses great and welcoming and the food typical of the region (lots of tasty fish and pork, but the traditional amount of carbs and rice a little overwhelming!). We tended to use the gpx files rather than the road book, and these were excellent. Thanks very much to the Intura team for a well organised trip.

The trip was beautifully curated. Everyday was full and very different from the last. The charming accommodations were superb and Nadia was so accommodating to answer all of our questions an ensure we had a fantastic experience:)

We booked a trip to the Azores and it was fantastic! Very well organized and the Intura team were super helpful when we had to reschedule due to luggage missing our flight. Drivers were friendly and helpful. Accommodation was great! Would definitely book with them again.

We are a group of friends from Finland who love to walk in the sunny landscapes of southern Europe when it is dark and cold here in the north. Most of us are already in their seventies and we appreciate easy paths, comfortable hotels and good food. Intura has offered us all this and much more in the five self-guided trekkings that we have done from their program in recent years: Luberon, Madeira, Dordogne, Bourgogne and recently Alpes Maritimes. On all these trips we have enjoyed the perfect organisation of transporting us, the transfer of our luggage, the booking of accommodation and restaurants, and Nadia has always been ready to help in any difficulty encountered. We warmly recommend this company to anybody, who would like to enjoy marvellous walking trips in France whithout any logistics problems.

We used Intura Travel to book a self-guided two-day bicycle ride through the Luberon hill villages of Provence in late September 2025. Communication was excellent both during our decision-making process and while we were on the trip. They happily accommodated our request to modify their standard five-day itinerary to suit our needs. The materials provided -- written instructions and the GPX file for navigation -- were excellent. The e-bikes we rented were of high quality and fun to ride. We appreciated that Intura routed us on small scenic roads with little car traffic. The company offers three levels of accommodations to suit different tastes. We loved our trip and would happily travel again with Intura.

Intura did a great job organizing the trip and the hikes. The hikes we did were remarkable and memorable. The drivers Intura hired were great. They were most willing to modify the printed itinerary based on our needs and desires. We do have one recommendation. Two of our hotels were well out of the towns on the islands. That meant we were pretty much stuck at that hotel restaurant for meals. The inn on São Jorge served good meals, the one on Pico were passable, but not really good. We might recommend that Intura provide a choice for clients to stay at a nicer or more convenient inn, at an additional price. Intura could also make a point of choosing a better inn. We realize that the choices are limited on these islands, but it might well be worth investigation. Rest assured that we did enjoy ourselves.

September 15-22, 2025 Les Verdon Gorges cycle tour. Nadia did a fantastic job of planning our trip. The cycle routes were spectacular with some of the best tarmac conditions we have cycled in Europe. The vistas were fantastic, beautiful and breathtaking as were the side trip hikes. Our lodging and hosts were gracious and friendly and well prepared. The food was fabulous at all of the hotels and restaurants that were booked for us. We have now taken 4 cycle tours and 2 hiking tours with InturaTravel and they always do an excellent job with the planning, coordination, logistics, bike vendors and guides, communications and follow-up. We look forward to another trip organized by Nadia and InturaTravel in the future. Thank you!

Our arranged hiking i Azores by Intura was a great experience. The service in place and on line was outstanding. The ground transporteras stands-out!

A fantastic cycling trip in Provence thanks to Intura. Amazing routes, fantastic hotels and super bikes! It was great being able to customise routes so that my husband could ride Mont Ventoux while I was able to pick up gentler routes in the area.

We went on a 3 day ebike trip in Provence. The trip was amazing. As an Australian family of 6 with 4 children between 15 and 23 it was a perfect adventure. We were really delighted how little of the trip was on any busy roads. of the 150km we did down to le Carmargue, there was only 5km of road with any sort of traffic... even then there were designated cycle lanes and all drivers were respectful... It was trully amazing, you spend nearly all your time on deserted laneways, country roads going through quiet villages, vineyards, olive plantations, historical sites and even roman ruins.
The direction instructions from Intura were fantastic. I only had to consult google maps 2 times in 3 days : The instructions are clear and having them in the clear folder at the handlebars made all the difference. So make sure you get the bike man to put the handlebar attachement that holds the perfectly sized direction booklet. the resturant recommendations and historical detail in the booklet are a highlight as well... Its great to go into a little village or pass an Abbey and have some details you can read out... as a note none of the family rides bikes, the ebikes made it effortless

We used this company to book a short hiking package in the Dordogne River Valley in southern France. Communication was excellent, all the materials came in a timely manner, and the trip itself was fabulous. We had excellent hotels and our routes were extremely clear. (Be sure to use the .gpx files that they send- this really helped with our navigation!) Thank y’all so much for such a wonderful service!

Intura Travel were easy to communicate with via email and answered quickly. The walks in the “Mercantour hiking: Alpine lakes and rock carvings” tour were spectacular. The GPX files of the routes were great in addition to the route notes. Different options for walks per day made adjustment to the actual weather conditions easier. It was really convenient to have the hotels and meals pre-booked. The chosen accommodation were really good- guest-friendly and very helpful in all ways. This was our first time using a company to organise our trip and it was a very positive experience. Thank you Nadia !
