After several years as a customer, I’m leaving this review to warn others.
The service is periodically unstable, but in the past few days it became almost unusable. Websites repeatedly returned 503 errors, normal browsing was impossible, and at times even cPanel would not load at all.
Support was extremely disappointing. The first reaction was to suggest paid upgrades, despite negligible traffic and no real resource usage. After multiple interactions, nothing was actually resolved.
After years of patience and trust - including sticking with them through earlier issues - the only realistic option left was to migrate everything away.
If you are considering this provider, my honest advice is simple: do not choose it. If you need a reliable and professional hosting service, look elsewhere.

Your own senior staff attributed the issue to maybe "Chinese" AI scraping, while this reply states it was resource limits or application behavior. It would help if there were internal consistency in the explanations provided.
If the scraping hypothesis refers to individual sites, the total traffic involved was extremely low - roughly 10-50 visits per day across everything, often less. That makes the narrative difficult to reconcile with the observed data.
The tendency to suggest upgrades was also quite evident throughout the interaction. Up-selling appears to be the default response pattern.
More importantly, these problems have been recurring for years, and no clear root cause has ever been identified. “Continuing to investigate” does not carry much weight when previous reports never led to a resolution.

I’ve had a good overall experience so far. Technical support has been responsive and helpful, especially during a situation where I misconfigured part of my setup and needed assistance restoring connectivity.
Recently, my account was migrated to a new server, and the transition went smoothly after updating the DNS as instructed. Email and website services are working properly.
In my experience, the service has been reliable and support has been solid when it’s needed.

We have used Interserver to host our church website for several years and have had very good results. They are always quick to respond to questions. We have been so pleased that we just moved our domain name to Interserver as well. I also found their site for account information so much easier to navigate than our last domain site.

1/5 rating. One star is for prices, if not for that I'd love to give a zero star rating.
I only have 18 dedicated servers, yet there is a daily outage constantly happening. When it happens, I have to pray that it happens on the time they are working, but most of the outages happen at night for them, therefore I have to wait hours until someone from support team restarts the server because IPMI does not work / won't let me log in.
I have had at least 5 power supply failures. One drive failure. Currently experiencing extremely slow write speeds on 3 machines that make the IOwait at least 5% of CPUs run time. That's just pathetic. I've had issues with networking countless times.
At the same time I have over 300 dedicated servers with another provider. In the same time as I have used interserver, I have had 1 issue that was resolved in 15 minutes.
Interserver has no support system in place. Need to check your server? Give them root password (always great). Is your server down? They won't know it unless you make a ticket, no automated checks or pings.
I am writing this review because this is the second outage in 24 hours for different machines. Enough is enough.

I have used Intersever for six years. I have occasionally contacted customer support over time.
Everytime, they have gotten back to me in one day or less.

I am using thier services since 7 years and I cant say in words the companies is transparent and deliver best service in the web hosting industry. I liked thier unrestricated space for thier servers while other hosting provider restrict you on term of email accounts, space, addon domains but not InterServer. I asked for db_owner on my SQL Server, and Sandar responded within an hour that it had been done. (I'm not sure I understand why we're not assigned db_owner automatically to databases we create, but that's the way it's working right now.) I appreciate the quick response and direct action.
