I bought the highest tier product they have and expected a product like most other cloud based storages, but unfortunately the fucntionality is wildly different and not in the good sense. The sync app... See more

Excellent Service, Couldn't Be Happier!
Nathan was brilliant to work with—a real professional from start to finish. What truly impressed me was his response time; I never had to wait around, which made everything feel fast and smooth. Most importantly, he answered every single question I had clearly and thoroughly. Highly recommend Nathan for his speed and expertise! He's the best.

Great customer service.
When working with online companies it can sometimes be a challenge to reach them if you need help. Internxt responded right away, even at 3am. Great customer service.

Absolute Garbage
Do not recommend Inernxt
Many features introduced after my Lifetime plan was purchased are not available to me unless I purchase additional plan.
Also, the desktop application does not work as Security suites flag it as malware.
Lastly, the desktop application does not sync properly with cloud storage and the only way to put files in the cloud is through browser.

Great storage for your final backup location for files
I use Internxt drive mainly for back ups of the huge collection of video mp4 files. It is a place for me to dump all mp4 files as a final storage in case I lost those orginal copy.
I ordered internxt drive mainly because of its privacy and encryption feature. I am in west coast of US and the upload speed is usually 100 to 150mbps and it is a good upload speed for mp4 files.
I ordered 20TB from the stacksocial deal and then I added 5 TB storge life time plan to enable webdav and cli features as the orginal stacksotial deal did not include CLI and webdav features. The internxt support is very kind to help me to stack the storage quoa from the two plans so now I can 25TB to work with.
Please note that at this time of writing (intrnxt drive did not have mp4 file direct steaming, that means if you upload mp4 files there, in case you need to watch it, you need to donwload it to local and then watch it).
Like I said, I at this moment, just use it as a place holder to dump all my mp4 files there as back up, so steaming mp4 is not my use case at this moment. If intenxt started to offer streaming feature in the future, I will consider to use it, too.
Overall, I have a very good expericne with internxt drive, If you need a place to dump your files as a last resort back up place, internxt is a good place to consider.

It all seems very scammy, nothing works.
I signed up for the 5TB lifetime with a discount, as it seemed like a good offer.
However, nothing seems to work. The Linux desktop app does not work properly, it does not allow me to upload any files (thus making its cloud backup service impossible to use and pointless), it does not do backups, and customer service are slow to respond to queries.
It all seems very scammy.
And, I tried to cancel within 30 days and get a refund, but they refused to refund me, in violation of EU laws.
they say it's a scam, but it's just a real product that isn't ready
The free services are great. "Internxt send" and the antivirus scanner appear to be free. I'm told that the antivirus is basically just Windows Defender, which is a good antivirus. The free 1GB doesn't seem to give users many problems.
The problems are in syncing and paid features. The sync doesn't work at all on any app or device I tried. I personally didn't upload much data, but the data I did upload had to be accessed through the web browser only.
Good zero knowledge concept but…
I own a 5tb plan purchased through Stacksocial but because of various known issues I don't use it.
I have since purchased a different service from a another provider which is far better.
Good zero knowledge concept but shocking buggy desktop software and app.
Internxt misses some of the most basic features which other services provude unfortunately.
Having tried to use my purchase intermittently without ever being happy and of the time of writing this review Internxt really is not fit for purpose yet.
The company seems to be offering other paid services but really should be looking to fix their core business as a priority.
I hope they get their act together otherwise their toast.

They advertise 3TB for the lifetime…
They advertise 3TB for the lifetime price of $280, but once you click it, it becomes $2800. Tricksters like this cannot be trusted.

Due to my advanced age
Due to my advanced age, I misunderstood the registration and payment. To my great joy, Mr. Jhonatan from Internxt came to my aid, and guided me with kindness and professionalism to successfully complete the 5TB plan.
Furthermore, I was promised immediate help by Mr. Jhonatan from Internxt for any problem that might arise and bother me.
I am glad that this is the customer service provided by Internxt.

The Internxt Scam
This is how Internxt will scam you. They will sell you a "low" cost plan with a bunch of features, such as;
- Post-quantum encryption
- Zero-knowledge encryption
- Two-factor authentication
- Backup your computer
- Password-protected file sharing
- Invite, share & collaborate
- CLI & WebDav support
- NAS & Rclone support
And then at some point, without notice, they will simply disable these features on you. You'll get absolutely no response if you try to email them about it. So all you can do is simply access your files via their web interface. It's clear they're trying to get you to pay again for things you've already paid for.
Avoid this company at all costs.
Permanently broken
I have my internxt account for over a year but I've NEVER been able to use it properly. The service is super buggy. I'm talking about uploads that fail, browsers that crash during uploads due to memory leaks, unstable apps. Support also keeps making fake promises like "it'll be fixed in the next version".
My support case has been going for over a year which started with simple login issues that they couldn't solve. I asked them for a refund under my ewarranry rights, because in Europe you also have 2y warranty on online services, and they've consistently failed to solve the issues. But they're ghosting me. I'm considering filing a complaint with official channels.
They lure you huge discounts on lifetime subscriptions but then provide a broken service. Watch out!

DON'T WAST YOUR TIME
I really wanted to like Internxt. On the surface, it looked like an incredible deal — a lifetime account with 20TB of cloud storage through StackSocial that seemed too good to pass up. It felt like a worthwhile investment in a promising new company focused on privacy and innovation. Before purchasing, I did my homework. I read plenty of reviews — some glowing, others skeptical — and concluded that Internxt might just be a small startup working through early-stage growing pains. I figured it was worth taking a chance. My coworkers and a few engineering friends tried to warn me. They said things like, “It’ll probably be gone in a year — and so will your data.” Still, I took the plunge, hoping the critics were wrong and that Internxt would surprise me. Unfortunately, almost every negative comment I read turned out to be true.Customer service doesn’t just need improvement — it’s virtually nonexistent. When I reached out with questions and concerns, I received only an automated acknowledgment promising a reply within 24 hours. I waited. Nothing. I followed up two more times over the next several days and never received a response of any kind. After nearly two weeks of radio silence, I finally went back to StackSocial to request a refund. Even that process was unnecessarily difficult, requiring multiple follow-ups. The issue was only resolved after I made it clear that I would dispute the charge with my credit card company if necessary. Ironically, about a week after the refund finally processed, I received a canned, AI-generated marketing email from Internxt informing me that the features I had wanted to use would require an additional recurring fee. The timing would have been funny if it weren’t so frustrating. For context, my intended use was simple: I wanted to back up my music collection for safekeeping. Nothing fancy — just a reliable way to upload and store folders of albums. However, I quickly discovered that Internxt’s system wouldn’t allow me to upload folders at all. I had to upload each individual MP3 file one by one. At that rate, filling even a fraction of the advertised 20TB would have taken decades. It’s been a long time since I’ve been this disappointed with a company. I genuinely wanted to support a new, privacy-focused cloud storage provider, but Internxt’s lack of functionality, transparency, and basic customer support makes that impossible. For anyone considering it, take my advice: save your time, your data, and your money.
Very good product, even better customer service!
Internxt is, at this point in time, one of only two companies who focus completely and uncompromisingly on data security and encryption. This made me choose their product for a lifetime subscription.
What made me write this comment, however, is the stellar customer service I encountered. I had a configuration problem that was largely my own fault, but the fine people at internxt helped me fast and with great competence. Even when my problem was resolved, they proactively supported me further in achieving my goal with very helpful hints.

Don’t Use Internxt – They Remove Features Without Notice
I purchased the Internxt Lifetime Deal for 10 TB storage on StackSocial in November 2024. At the time of purchase, all advertised features — including the web client, CLI, and WebDAV access — worked perfectly. To be safe, I even took screenshots and saved an archive.org snapshot of the sales page as proof of what was offered.
Everything was running fine at first, but since a recent change in the software, these features no longer work — you can even check the relevant Git commit on GitHub that removed the functionality. I contacted Internxt support several times to ask why these features were disabled on my account, but never received a reply.
After checking Reddit, I found that Internxt had recently changed the deal terms for new Lifetime users, now claiming that these features were “never included.” That statement is simply not true for early buyers like me.
I also posted about this issue in the Internxt Reddit group, explaining that my account was limited and the feature had been removed — instead of getting help, my Reddit account was banned from the group.
Overall, I’m very disappointed with how Internxt handled this situation — features were removed without notice, communication was non-existent, and criticism was silenced.
