Not so happy, but at the end it worked...

Not so happy, but at the end it worked after 2.5 months stress...

Original story: I ordered a TV in early December for Christmas—it’s now mid-February, and still nothing. They gave me two delivery dates (I even took time off work), but nothing showed up. Every call to customer support is a different story—one says the TV is in Switzerland, another says it’s out of stock, while their website promises "Next Day Delivery." Then I get an email saying it was shipped—but no tracking number, no confirmation, and support still insists they don’t have it. Now they claim it’s sent, but it’ll take another week to arrive. Seriously?!

Three months of waiting, frustration, and wasted time. I finally ordered the same TV from Digitec in the afternoon—boom, it arrived in under 24 hours! Meanwhile, Interdiscount is still a mess. At this point, I was super annoyed by this entire purchase.

UPDATE: Theoretically I will receive the TV in a few hours today, and Interdiscount gives a bit of compensation.

UPDATE2: TV arrived (although the box was scratched by the delivery company, luckily the TV itself was not damaged). Customer support at Interdiscount (Mr. B.) was really nice and helpful. I discussed with 4-5 different agents during the 2+ months, they were all nice, but all were completely clue-less except Mr. B., who gave an amazing support. He was professional, organized faster delivery and a bit of compensation for my wasted time and nerves. So I modify the 1 star review for 3 stars. One star for Interdiscount's "webshop" and item availability-shipping date promises and communication, 3 stars for most of the customer agents and 5 stars for Mr. B.

Completely unacceptable customer service

I ordered a case for my new tablet. When I received the box, it was empty. Obviously someone had reached in from the side and stolen the content - it wasn't even packed properly. I called up customer support twice and sent them two emails, but never even got an answer, so I had to order the product somewhere else and say goodbye to the money they kept. A week after that they actually DID answer, stating that it's not their problem and I should call the police. Yeah, sure. Up yours!!! I'll never buy anything there again.

horrible experience with interdiscount/fust

UPDATE:
1 week has already passed since I was promised for a refund and nothing happened!!

I have ordered a freezer on Nov 13 from Interdiscount and it arrived damaged. I then requested a prompt exchange of the product on Nov 25, to which I was notified on Nov 28 of a pickup and new delivery. Two days later, I realised that the courier was only coming for a pickup not a new delivery. I waited for several days and then called interdiscount requesting a refund instead of an exchange. I was informed that the matter is handled by fust. I called fust and informed them of my intent several times over a week. From then until now, I have called both companies more than 10 times from my number and my husband's clearly stating that we need a refund and everytime we get a promise that the refund is on the way.
For almost two months I have been suffering from nonprofessional communication and inefficient handling of my requests. I can clearly say that this is the worst customer experience I had and ever heard of.
After several attempts, one employee told me that the problem is that I didnt send an email requesting a refund and that they only have my very early email of Nov 25 requesting an exchange.
I will not let it go with my rights no matter what it takes. I need my refund promptly or else I will share my experience on every relevant platform!

I ordered a sbb halbtax online

I ordered a sbb halbtax online, but only received a piece of delivery note. I have written to the customer support about the missing voucher and also visited the store on site where the stuff helped me submit a form online. I haven't heard from it for four days so I called customer service as I am going on vacation this Friday. The stuff promised me that I will receive a confirmation from email really soon and it will be delivered to me. However, I still didn’t get any confirmation email so far. Really disappointed with this experience.

terrible customer service

terrible customer service . I ordered a hard drive (using the correct home address to recieve the parcel). Parcel never came so I tracked in and found that DPD were havin issues delievering it as the adress wasnt correct. I checked the info they had, checked the info interdiscount had.. all was correct. DPD said to email interdiscount for clarification. Interdiscount replied ' thank you your product return has been registered and the amount refunded to your card.
...WTF?! I didnt asked for a refund or return?!?!? So I continued to ask for clarification and they just washed their hands and said 'not our fault, we cant possibly know what the problem was, once we send the package its not our responsability and all I have to do it reorder it.
Re order it?! So i asked how the hell are they gonna confirm that the item will even arrive as they were clearly unable to deliver to a correct address.
there reply once again : just redorder it and if it doesnt work out know that its not our fault and we cant do anything. Shameless customer service

Update: (I still have not received this message that they are talking about.

Unfortunately they cannot get the simplest things right. We asked for an old appliance bought in Interdiscount to be taken away when the new one was delivered. We were told that we could go into a shop to organise the collection for 80CHF, or to dispose of it ourselves. (Thanks for telling us what we can do ourselves. Highly patronising). Delivery given to Planzer who then say it can be collected by them for 50CHF. Driver turns up (eventually) says he's had no info about a collection, it would cost 150CHF, can't be done today. (Oh but he could come back next week for 120CHF to do it). Really sloppy service, possibly a money making scam by Planzer, and frankly nothing but disengaged, formulaic answers from Interdiscount customer service. UPDATE: INTERESTINGLY NO ENGAGEMENT WITH MY EMAILS TO THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE, HOWEVER THEY DO WANT ADDITIONAL INFO THROUGH TRUST PIOLOT. FOR ME THE ADVICE STANDS: FROM MY EXPERIENCE THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DO A SIMPLE DROP OFF AND COLLECTION AS AGREED.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service

I have had a terrible experience with Interdiscount. After purchasing AirPods Pro, I returned them FIVE times due to ongoing charging issues and poor call quality, only to be repeatedly told that there were no faults. Each visit wasted 15-30 minutes of my time filling out forms, with no real solution ever offered. It felt like they were simply stalling until the warranty expired.

To make matters worse, when I escalated my concerns, I was basically told that they didn’t care. This is not the kind of service I expect from a reputable company. I will never shop here again and will advise everyone I know to avoid them as well.

Low quality service

Low quality service, untrained employees.
The stewarts at the shops are mostly unaware of rules or costs, therefore when asking for a return, for example, it happens that they don't mention about charges. In my case, I returned an item at their shop the day after purchase, without even opening it; they were trying without success to process the refund on the same credit card used for the purchase, so I had to give an IBAN, then much worse they said the full amount would be credited, while after few days I discovered 10chf were deducted (on a full amount of 45chf).
I guess they don't spend the money to train their staff properly.
The customer service isn't any better, as they only claimed that this is written on a web page inside their website. I did the return in their physical shop and not on their website, so for me that is not a significant excuse.

Interdiscount enables scams using…

Interdiscount enables scams using paycard

Apparently its possible to order items from the online shops only by giving a persons name and address at checkout.
It is apparently also possible to make purchases in certain shops by simply giving a name and address.
All without any verification process from Interdiscount to ensure the person making the purchase is actually who they say they are.

This enables fraud and resulted in my receiving bill from paycard (a third party that Interdiscount employs) without having made a purchase. I couldn't believe how easy it is to commit fraud at Interdiscount. Truly a horrible company. I don't understand how this can be legal.

Customer (lack of) Service

I ordered a Samsung phone for home delivery and a completely different item (Marshall Speaker) was delivered.
I contacted the customer service team straight away by email to let them know and that they needed to please organise the collection of the incorrectly delivered item and deliver the correct item to me the next day.

They replied that when I returned the item that THEY had delivered incorrectly, then they would send me the Samsung phone...

Sorry?!?

Interdiscount send me the wrong item and then they want me to return the wrong item that they delivered to me BEFORE they send me the correct item...??
They also want me to go to a Post Office to do that for them when I have zero time at present, which is why I ordered a home delivery.

Value your customer ....not at Interdiscount.

Very bad experience

Very bad experience. The package was stolen, the post and shop were informed immediately. It took more than 1 month for customer service to inform me that they cannot do anything and I can go to police. The fault was clearly on the post site ( delivery person just left package without ring ) but only sender can start inquiry and claim refund. The shop refused any help

charge 20% fee for returns

Returned an electronic device that did not meet expectations because it was slow and just not good. Interdiscount takes a 20% cut of any returns that have been opened, but returned in perfect condition with all original packaging.

very bad experience

I ordered a chair from interdiscount, but it arrived without armrests.
I first tried to understand if they could send the armrests, but no one answered me. So I returned the chair the next day, in its original packaging, and explained that parts were missing.
It's been 3 weeks and I have not received any refund for my purchase. Interdiscount says that they are waiting for the manufacturer to confirm the "damage" on the chair. What damage are they even talking about????? the chair is missing the armrests, how long can it possibly take to confirm that?
This is the worst customer experience I ever had in Switzerland. Don't buy from interdiscount.

Careful!!! Interdiscount Support looks for loopholes in purchase agreement to excuse breaching warranty!

(skip to barred line for conclusion)

I bought myself an ASUS Laptop (Flow x13). The battery started having issues within about 2 months after purchase due to a model-specific error that many other users on the internet have experienced with this specific laptop. We are not talking about the natural wear of any battery. We are talking about a mistake in the design of the laptop that inhibits the charging and discharging of the laptop. the battery percentage will stay at a certain number and won't increase when plugged in and won't decrease when unplugged until it suddenly gives up without a proper shutdown procedure (I booted into Linux too... same issue). It's a very strange issue that has nothing to do with the eventual wear of the battery, instead is an issue with the systems involved in controlling and monitoring power to and from the battery.
When I contacted Interdiscount to repair the laptop, they claimed that I was not eligible for warranty as the issue in question concerned the battery, which is a "verschleissteil" (English: item subject to wear). This is completely obnoxious because, as previously explained, the battery clearly did not wear and instead something in the laptop malfunctioned which might even not be the battery itself.

Interdiscount offered to repair the laptop for about 400 CHF even though I was still well within my 24 months warranty coverage. I tried to fight it proving to them that:
1. The issue is not related to the natural gradual wear of the battery and instead caused by a sudden permanent malfunction in the device's hardware/firmware, which likely even originates outside of the battery.
2. Many other buyers of this laptop experience the exact same highly-specific issue, which means the issue should not fall under "gradual battery wear" and should instead be regarded as an error inherent in the design of the laptop that should be corrected for any affected customers!

However, Interdiscount customer support had found a way to blame the issue on wear of the battery, even though this is CLEARLY not the case and would not even acknowledge the arguments I brought. They are a company that will wrongfully push warranty cases into ineligibility by aggressively misusing purchase agreements. This is simply wrong and fraudulent! Stay clear of this company!

However, we do not have this information and, according to our general terms and conditions, batteries are wearing parts that are excluded from the warranty. Extremely Dishonest Company

Extremely dishonest company taking advantage of the fact that Switzerland seem to be one of the only countries in the Western world where customers have no statutory rights.

My keyboard and mouse arrived defective. The sales conditions state that I should get a refund, but they told meto contact Dell

Despite them advertising themselves as a Dell Gold Partner, and selling me a three-year Dell premium (next day) warranty, Dell told me they did not recognise the warranty.

I sent it back, and 18 days after receiving a broken product, they still have not resolved this issue and they are still refusing to provide the level of warranty I purchased.

My advice is to buy from Galaxus, Digitec or Amazon and avoid these crooks.

To clarify my complaint, it is obvious on the following page (at least today) that interdiscount are claiming to offer 2-year next day Dell Premium warranties and displaying a Dell Gold Partner logo to make their claim convincing.

Unfortunately, I cannot post a screenshot here, but the German language text (copied and pasted) reads:

What makes this worse is that I spend huge sums of money on shopping every year with Coop! So, let's hope Interdiscount eventually admit that their actions were fraudulent, and return my money. My local Migros supermarket is closer than Coop, so I could also save some fuel money.

Update: despite promising to look into this 5 days ago, and despite have provided the additonal information that was requested, I still have no resolution. They recognize that their website clearly advertised a Dell Premium Warranty, but apparently do not understand that it is unethical and probably illegal to sell something you cannot and do not deliver.

Unklare Informationen

I bought a headset.
There's nothing in the title or picture that suggests this will only work on the PS platform. (I want to use it on PC)
You have to scroll down the page and open the details description to see the platform info.
I received it only to realize that I bought the wrong one and had to return it. I think this is an invisible deception. I just needed a regular headset, who would have thought it couldn't be used on pc?
