Easy to use and element of setting own pace was a huge positive
The self study modules were easily to use and follow, and the element of setting your own pace to study worked well for me. The assessments were straight forward to use with plenty of time given. I liked the option of marking a question to come back to at the end if you were unsure of the answer, rather than waste time.
The module content was good, and the use of case studies and real-life examples helped put the learning into a different perspective.
Only improvement to be made is that the course content sometimes repeated itself.

I initially signed up to the Sustainability course
I initially signed up to the sustainability course to learn a few specific modules, but I quickly found that the entire programme was fascinating.
I learnt a huge amount. Some elements were challenging, but in a positive way. They stretched my thinking and deepened my understanding. Each tutor leading the individual modules was incredibly knowledgeable and made their sessions engaging, relevant and practical.
It was clear that every teacher is a professional working within their field, which made the learning feel grounded in real experience. I particularly enjoyed exploring the case studies of real businesses operating in the sustainability space, seeing theory applied in practice brought everything to life.
Thank you for such a thoughtful and well-delivered course. It was this course that helped me start my business, Remnant Revolution, with confidence.

Very Useful Course
I completed the Introduction to Business Sustainability course, and found it to be extremely good. It walked you through all the relevant and useful topics, in live classes once per week, alongside others in your cohort, with the opportunity to dicuss things and ask questions. As someone who wanted to transition into working in sustainability, it was invaluable to me, and I'm sure was a key criteria in helping me to get my first job!

Really practical and relevant
Loved the flexibility of being able to work through the course at my own pace — as someone juggling a busy ops role, that made a real difference. The platform itself was easy to navigate and the content was engaging rather than just death by PowerPoint.
The masterclasses were a highlight and added real depth to the core modules. The course covers a broad range of topics but it never feels overwhelming — everything ties back to why it actually matters for businesses operating today.
I work in a B-Corp certified distillery where sustainability is central to everything we do, so having this knowledge to sit alongside the hands-on experience I've built has been brilliant. I feel much better equipped to drive real impact in my role rather than just ticking boxes.
Would definitely recommend it to anyone working in a business where sustainability is a priority but doesn't necessarily have a dedicated team behind them.

Great content and easy to navigate learning environment

Motivating and well presented
I really enjoyed the ISS online diploma. The course content is well presented and varied. Good case studies and lots of content. Absolutely recommend the course, it's given me lots to think about. You can work through it at your own speed, which for me worked really well.

Great online course plus live Masterclasses!
Really enjoyed the Diploma course! It covers variety of topics which were more than I'd expected. I also enjoyed reading and watching extra materials which helped me more understanding the topics. It was nice to be able to learn online which gave me flexibility and also great to be able to attend live masterclasses which were provided by lecturers from a variety of backgrounds. I thought I knew this subject very well but I discovered a lot of new content that is very relevant to my own SME clients - many of whom are striving to address the challenges of sustainability initiatives and reporting when they sit in the supply chains of larger companies, especially MNCs.
