Buy a ninja

Just purchased a new instant pot plus from Argos and it’s so bad

We are trying to do the initial setup with a pressure cooker with 700ml of water. After now 17 mins the unit has not worked as expected. Steam is escaping from the lid and the lid is over 100c. I burnt my hand trying to vent the steam and then when I went to take the lid off it felt like melting plaster coming away. Not impressed after my first and final use!! We used a friend and that model was 3 years old and worked so much better then this new rubbis. Sister for a ninja version and it’s been pretty decent. I’ve wasted my time and £180 buying a crap product. Now I’ve got to pack it up and return it. Total load of crap

I’ve got videos of the brand new unit failing and as I’m typing this out 33 mins later the unit will not start cooking

Yeah waste of money

Vortex Display a Flop. CDB Goldair no help

My Instant Pot Vortex air fryer’s digital display failed after about 12 months and became unusable.

It was difficult to even find the correct support contact due to distribution changes, but I eventually reached CDB Goldair. The experience was poor. The response was dismissive and unhelpful, and I was told to just buy a new unit. Responsibility was pushed back onto me and then onto the 12 month warranty.

In the end, the issue was not resolved by them. I had to go through the original retailer to obtain a refund, which was successful.

Buyer beware! Poor Customer Service machines are not well-made

So my story with this company is that initially I bought this coffee maker because of the convenience of having the coffee pods and espresso pods in one machine. Worked great for a few months and then just one day stopped working made a weird noise stopped working. I called customer service. They had me run a few things to try to fix it didn’t work so because I was within the warranty, they sent me a new machine, the new machine lasted till yesterday morning, which was less than five years after returning the first one same thing made coffee one morning was fine. Went to make an espresso in the afternoon and just flashed some lights and stopped working called customer service. They ran me through the same things that I had already tried to fix it didn’t work and because I was out of the warranty they just kind of said well there’s nothing else we can do. I’m like there’s no way to fix this problem like a part or take it apart and fix it nothing and they send me an email on another method to try to clean it and then when I said that didn’t work they just basically said well that’s all we can do and they closed the email and said that was it worst Customer Service ever and I will definitely never ever buy something from this company again garbage quality fire beware product will last maybe four years if you’re lucky

Awful customer service

I recently purchased an instant pot. I used it for the first time yesterday. It’s completely faulty after testing and trying to cook it kept saying burn food. I tried lots of things knowing there’s plenty of liquid inside and a friend who’s used one for years walking me through instructions it’s not working or coming up to pressure. Also I tried the water test and it’s not working at all. I wrote to instant pot as you can’t call and explained it’s faulty and they wrote back saying as I’d used it I can’t return it??? How would I know it’s faulty if I hadn’t try to use it? The consumer act and trading standings uk insist I can get a refund for a faulty product, I’m appalled at the customer service and will be writing to the CEO..

I can't speak highly enough about this company.

I can't speak highly enough about the excellent service I have received from this company.

My Instant Pot air fryer developed a fault on the digital display so I was unable to set the cooking temperature accurately. I contacted the company by email, they responded very quickly asking for a couple of photos of the serial number plate, the faulty digital display and proof of purchase.

I've just received an email from Bea, the most helpful customer service agent ever, saying a replacement air fryer is on it's way to me free of charge. Wonderful customer service!

Astonishingly good gadget

Best bit of kitchen equipment I have bought in years. I took delivery of one for a friend the Instant Pot vortex plus Dual. As I had been considering one for awhile I asked her if I could try it, she agreed, and the machine is so good that I bought two, one for my main home and one for my second home and have hardly used my oven since. The first thing that impressed me about the machine was how intuitive and easy it was to use. The main thing obviously is the cooking ability of the machine and the number of options available. It’s really transformed the way I work in the kitchen now and I wouldn’t be without one. Easy to clean quick to heat up perfect results. Great Gadget. Highly recommend.

Both drawers failed. No response from support

Bought a two drawer instant pot air fryer 4 years ago. It’s worked well enough, but now both drawers have developed cracks at the top, presumably due to the plastic going brittle due to the heat. I wrote to the support people a week ago, but they haven’t bothered to respond. I’m very dissapointed in their support organisation and the product quality, and for that reason am unlikely to purchase further products from their range.

INSTANT POT DUO PLUS 8 Iitre.

INSTANT POT DUO PLUS 8 Iitre.
If your looking for a pressure cooker that will cook 8 litres, don't buy this one..... it only cooks 6.3 litres.

How can they call it an 8 Litre you ask ? Well it has an 8L pot inside, BUT IT CAN ONLY BE FILLED TO TWO THIRDS OF IT'S CAPACITY when used as a pressure cooker.

WHAT A JOKE, TO CALL IT AN 8 LITRE COOKER.

Junk

Bought my wife an instant pot just after Christmas 2023. It lasted about 8 months before an error code showed up and it wouldn't work. We called corporate and after of about a month they send a new one. The new one lasted about 6 months when similar hardware problems happened. After contacting corporate this time they informed us that they couldn't do anything because we didn't have recept for the one they replaced. Don't buy this junk.

Had an issue with my air fryer ...

Had an issue with my air fryer. Have bought four air fryers from them and have always had an issue. So, I went to the website and filled out the long involved form. I got back an email confirming they received my inquiry but "due to maintenance" they will have a delay in responding. I waited days. No reply. I called. I am told by the computer that they are too busy and to contact them via chat on the website but they have to know there is no chat, only the long form to fill out for email they know they will never respond to. There is absolutely no way to contact them unless you call them and ignore the message telling you to hang up and to on line to schedule a call back, which doesn't exist, either. So I listened to the messages repeatedly until a person got on the line. He told me I would have to send a video and they would consider responding. And he knew that was a lie. When I told him about my horrible experience contacting them, he told me he didn't have to listen to my complaints and he hung up. I am sitting here is complete disbelief. They need to go out of business for this lack of care for their customers. Karma, folks! Oh, and by the way, I sent them three emails days apart, and the response is always that they are undergoing maintenanace. I wonder if the President or CEO is aware of this?

Hardware issue makes this garbage

Gently used unit shows C6H error code, making unit inoperable.
Customer support says i must have caused it to burn, but research says it's a hardware issue, as long as user hasnt gotten liquid in the unit or allowed it to burn with no liquid- i assured them it's never happened, i always take good care of it. They told me my unit is basically garbage and to buy a new one, but cant offer any assistance since my husband bought this as a gift and didnt save the receipt after a few months. Now im seeing other reviews with the same error code and issue, and im disappointed instant pot wont take accountability for their hardware issue. Before the issue, i had no complaints! But going back to the BELLA brand which is cheaper and lasted 5 years, compared to instant pot's few months.

Really bad support! never buy its products

I bought the Instant Pot about 5 years ago, and found its error code C6H yesterday. I contacted its support line, and waited for 1 hour. The support agent is come from Philippines. She said that the company does not support the module, even not part available. And only solution is give up the pot as garbage, and buy a new one.

It is so frustrated for their product and a long time of waiting from Philippines instead of North America.

Never use their products again!

Instant pot were very generous

Instant pot were very generous - I reached out and spoke with Logan to ask them about buying a replacement air-fryer lid as I had been recently diagnosed with ceoliac disease (gluten allergy) and my old one was contaminated. They very generously gave us it free of charge. Incredible service

Replacement basket for air fryer was…

Replacement basket for air fryer was smaller than original!
My wife originally had a had an Instant Pot multi cooker that she was very pleased with so when they brought out the Air fryer Duo she happily bought one. It has proved very useful but unfortunately the non stick metal basket soon started to deteriorate and lose its coating. She tried to get a replacement but they were out of stock so she requested notification when it was back in stock. A year later she received an e mail with a link to the in stock item so we ordered the replacement. It arrived a couple of days later but it is smaller than the original. This means the stainless steel removable shelf you can insert to separate two different items of cooking will not fit! While the basic cooker seems good the metal basket is poor quality and Instant Pot's service is dreadful!

This appliance is a real help to very busy people. It saves a lot of time - a meat stew can be cooked in under 40 minutes for example. The rice and porridge turn out really well. Very versatile. We really enjoy using it and the recipe book for it.
