I love the fact that I have ink whenever I need it, and I find the price very competative. I would have awarded 5 stars, but the website is full of bugs and keeps crashing when I am trying to access... See more

Generally things are going well. The software occasionally has a blip and does not recognise and A4 sheet on the glass as A4!

I lost my bank card so my monthly subscription would not go through on that card, i tried a million times to change my card details to which it would not accept. Very frustrating and i now cant print

It’s scam and waste of money. I had a leaking hp printer with subscription, they refused to replace printer but want to continue charging massive monthly subscription.

I have never experienced such consistently unprofessional and condescending customer service. Despite clear billing statements, I was repeatedly given conflicting and inaccurate information regarding my usage, rollover pages, and charges.
My plan includes 25 pages per month, and I historically (subscribed 1 year+) accumulated rollover pages due to minimal printing. However, over the past two months, I began experiencing connectivity issues that required printing troubleshooting instructions—pages that explicitly stated they would not be charged, yet I was billed for them. As a result, my monthly charges suddenly increased to over $20, which does not align with my actual usage.
When I sought assistance, the only resolution offered was a free month in a future billing cycle—while still expecting me to pay the current, disputed charges. Additionally, I was told I printed over 100 pages, while my statement reflects only 46 pages. There is no transparency regarding rollover totals, and each representative provided different, inconsistent figures.
I canceled my subscription, yet I was billed again afterward with no clear explanation of usage. Attempts to contact customer service have since resulted in errors and being unable to access support.
This program lacks transparency, accountability, and basic customer service standards. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I will not be using this service again

I am currently in my trial period and joined this program specifically for high-volume color printing for my grandchildren’s educational projects. This is my second review because the situation has worsened. HP’s marketing promise is: "We send you ink before you run out." This has proven to be a total myth.
The timeline of my experience is unacceptable:
20/04/2026: According to the Virtual Assistant, a replacement was supposedly dispatched. However, I received no confirmation email, which is standard procedure.
21/04/2026: I received a "low ink" warning on my printer.
22/04/2026 (Today): My printer is already "Out of Ink" and completely blocked.
If the ink was truly sent on the 20th, the monitoring system failed to be "proactive" enough to cover a 48-hour gap. My device is now a useless brick, even though my black ink cartridge is full. To continue my grandchildren's learning, I am forced to go to a retail store and buy standard cartridges, which contradicts the entire point of this subscription.
If HP cannot handle high-volume users or if your tracking information is inaccurate, please be transparent. I expect the service I will pay for to be reliable and the "proactive" shipping to actually work.

I accept that when I eventually cancel the subscription, the Instant Ink cartridges in use at that time will stop working. However, I do not accept that as soon as I subscribe, my existing non-Instant Ink cartridges will suddenly stop working and then I have to wait for my first set of Instant Ink cartridges to be delivered before I can print again. I should not lose existing printing function until I install the new Instant Ink cartridges. I feel that you've stolen the remaining ink in my self-owned cartridges from me and unacceptably inconvenienced me for a week while waiting for the delivery.

I have had a subscription for a number of years. I have paid far more for ink cartridges than I have received as I do not do much printing. A few weeks ago I had a replacement debit card. I tried to input the new details into my hp account with no success. I then went onto their website and chatted to a bot who was useless. Eventually I emailed hp to cancel my contract. Today I went to print a document and a message came up that I could not print but need to contact hp. I am disgusted with hp that they can make my printer inoperable. I purchased my printer at Comet and only signed up for the subscription a few years after the purchase.
I think the business practices of HP should be investigated.

HP enrolled me in a subscription I never knowingly signed up for and charged my account without clear consent. I did not receive the product or service I was supposedly paying for, and when I contacted HP to resolve the issue, they refused to issue a refund.
This is predatory billing. Charging a customer for a subscription they were unaware of, failing to deliver on that subscription, and then refusing a refund is unacceptable — and potentially illegal under consumer protection laws.
I am filing a complaint with my bank to dispute the charge as unauthorized. I am also reporting this to the Better Business Bureau and my provincial consumer protection office (Ontario’s Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery).
Do not give HP your payment information. If you already have, monitor your statements closely. I would not recommend HP products or services to anyone.

I did call and when your representative said that they will not help with a refund, I asked for a manager and then I was hung up on…

Be careful with HP Instant Ink. If you cancel your subscription, the ink cartridges you already have will stop working—even if they’re full.
I learned this the hard way. My printer was completely disabled until I removed those cartridges and bought new ones. I had to call customer service just to understand what was happening, which cost me two days of wasted time.
This feels like a trap. You don’t truly “own” the ink you receive through the subscription.
Very inconvenient and not worth the hassle in my experience. Don’t do it!!

Has been ok and they're very quick to tell me when I'm about to run out of my paper quota. However I've recently run out of ink and had to pay out nearly £50 for two ink cartridges. HP are completely disinterested and it's somehow my fault for having an old printer

Over £9 for 4 pages? Are you having a laugh. Complete scam. Genuinely put my off from any HP product. I'd paid for the damn cartridges over the time I was paying the monthly subscription and not using them.

Despite a poor review and correspondence about the cancelled contract, cancelled before the trial period elapsed, they continue to take money from my account - some 4 months on. The only option my bank can suggest is cancelling my card - which means I have to contact all business clients to update details as I am some £25 out of pocket. I have not received any ink cartridges for the last 4 months but keep paying!!
