I love the fact that I have ink whenever I need it, and I find the price very competative. I would have awarded 5 stars, but the website is full of bugs and keeps crashing when I am trying to access... See more

Not worth it
Almost everytime I went to use the printer something was wrong with it and I had to recalibrate it (using up a page or more to do so, eating into my "page limit") or had to reconnect it or it had lines down it. Takes 5 - 15 minutes to fix it and print.
Seems scammy and a money grab to make it a subscription, especially when it doesn't even work most of the time
Just use an orginary printer, you will save yourself a headache

Pirates who electronically blocked my printer then said that they couldn’t possibly do that so to prove a point I bought my own ink cartridges and my printer was instantly fixed.
These people are pirates who electronically kidnap your printer unless you pay them money to unblock it
Outrageous they should not be allowed access to peoples printers I have had no working printer for 12 months because of them controlling how many pages I am allowed to print!
Biggest regret of my life buying a hp printer deskjet2800 and enrolling on the instant ink scheme

By using HP Instant Ink you never have to worry about running out and where would you go to buy another cartridge!!! Cartridges always arrive before you run out and an envelope is enclosed for the return of used cartridges. I would highly recommend this company.

Aaaahh - there are just chatbots and login and NO SUPPORT. I signedup for the free paper and ink with my new printer. I cancelled the free months paper plan within 2 weeks. The site said that it is free - and it will charge me £11.99 on 2 June 2026.
That's NOT FREE. I cannot speak to anyone, I just get chat bots, virtual assistans. No email, phone number. I'm literrally going crazy. HP has so many app logins to keep you busy till you give up.
Cancle the FREE PLAN within the timescale, hence it is FREE. DO NOT BILL ME!!!

NEVER sign up for this service (it’s not a service) they FINE you for printing more than your allocated pages using your own electricity, your own paper, your own WiFi. They say it’s a SERVICE but all they supply for that £6.49 a month is some ink when you are running low which is probably about 3 times a year. They can’t explain to you what the additional charges are for when you go over your “allotted” pages each month. Just that you have to pay £1.50 for each 10 pages you go over - they are not supplying the electricity, WiFi or paper just a SERVICE? I’d like to call it a FINE.
I have been signed up with them since April 2019 and hadn’t really looked into this until printing for my son’s wedding. I printed 858 pages this month and was charged a whopping £87.49 for the privilege of using MY printer, MY electricity, MY paper and MY WiFi.
I recommend you stay well away from them. I have cancelled my subscription and will be telling everyone that will listen not to use their service. It’s daylight robbery especially when they can’t tell you what that SERVICE CHARGE is actually for! That’s because it’s a FINE!! Don’t sign up and if you’ve signed up - cancel your subscription
And as you can see from the reply below - there is no explanation for a fine of £83.00 less the ink (which I didn’t need as I only averaged over the last 5 years printing 66 sheets per month) I have just suddenly received another ink cartridge that will have to go in the bin as I won’t be able to use it now. What a complete waste of money. I’ve paid a lot of money to this system and I don’t appear to be the only one who has been mistreated. Thanks HP you truly are a load of rubbish.

Been with them for years and had minor issues. The biggest problem came when I canceled my subscription. And that immediately rendered my ink cartridge in operative. What a waste of ink. Can't use the cartridges even though they were almost full.

This is absolutely horrible service.

The printer always works well.
My use of ink and paper is monitored and a new supply sent before the old runs out.
Highly satisfied with the service.

I like the way the monthly subscription can be increased or decreased to manage my changing print requirements.

The ink service is excellent but I seemed to get overwhelmed with paper so I have had to cancel that for now

Found this way of printing excellent.
Never run out of ink.

I like the contract for its simplicity and no longer having to worry when my ink will run out.

a very decent price home printing experience. The best thing I like about the HP printing subscription is the ease and flexibility with which changes to the monthly number of prints can be made for a minimal price increase and the option to revert back when not needed

Up to the last month, I had no problems with the brand. Suddenly, I cannot get a connection to the printer from anyone in my family on my network. I tried all the advice given on the HP site, and still I cannot get the connection.
Because I have been highly occupied, I haven't had the time to fix it, and I need some expert advice to connect the printer again.

I’m so pleased to be given opportunity to comment on your outstanding service. My wife and I have been customers for many years and the communication & information you send through to us is excellent. Thank you.

I personally enjoy knowing that I don't need to worry about having replacement ink cartridges to hand when required. Neither do I need to monitor my paper usage
