Inspire Home Automation, founded in 2012, is now run by 3 directors.

Matthew Smith is our Software Engineer and specialises his responsibility for Website, Phone Apps, and Servers.

Gavin Smith is our Electronics Engineer and has developed the circuits and embedded software on the Thermostats

Stewart Horton is our Hardware Engineer and has created the stylish range of thermostats.

Joke of a company.

Joke of a company.
ordered a repeater but turned out it wasn't needed so trying to return it. I had no confirmation email or invoice from inspire, but did get an email from their payment provider
trying to return the unit and had to message from a different email address. They wont accept my return until i reply to their original email, Which they resent but still haven't received. Telling me its against GDPR regulations even though im not asking for any personal information only to return the unit. taking far too much of my time.

also was given bad information when originally enquired about the system to go on our 8 bed HMO.

i asked if we needed to zone each room as wanted separated room controls, the lady on live chat said no. I asked her to confirm that only needs 1 zone and the rooms can be controlled individually, she confirmed that was correct. i didn't understand how this worked but assumed there would be an electronic stat on each rad.
the plumber started his works, stat arrived. plumber then chatted with inspire and turned out each room DID need to be zoned individually, so ended up whole house on single zone.

the product seems ok but once set not much needs doing. Just a fancy room stat with a boost button. maybe different if we had each room individually zones as planned.

Inspire have been super helpful and…

Inspire have been super helpful and pleasent to deal with - i've had a number of teething issues to deal with - some of which were the fault of my electirican and Inspire were quick to help and really gave me the time and energy to ensure all is working correctly

Does everything it says on the tin

As a landlord and software engineer specialising in user experience design I must conclude this Inspire 2 channel smart thermostat is absolutely spot on in functionality, aesthetic design and user interface. The price is worth every penny, you are paying for a top quality product that does all you need. No time for a review you can google it on YouTube all I want to say is that time:o:stat say they are the best but it can't control the hot water separately. Dragons Den have been duped! This Inspire can do 2 or 4 channel including hot water tank. And programming is intuitive and easy to use.

Fit for purpose with great support

Well designed product with features that support landlords and tenants. Product was easily installed with good instructions. Great explanatory videos. Above all, first class support from patient, knowledgeable people, by phone and messaging gave high level of confidence.

Poor security has just been informed…

Poor security has just been informed that they had a data breach of client data in 4th Jan 2021, and forgot to tell everyone. Hope that under GDPR, they remove all my data

The only known data breach occurred in November 2020 and was linked to Cit0day.

This incident led to the exposure of email addresses and encrypted passwords. Upon becoming aware of the breach, we notified the ICO in line with our regulatory obligations. As the passwords were encrypted and therefore presented a very low risk, it was concluded that no further action was necessary.

Although no website can ever be guaranteed to be 100% secure, we have significantly enhanced our security measures since this incident to further reduce the risk of any future breaches.

Fantastic Customer Service with Aspire.

I had a problem with WiFi which I couldn’t solve. Morgan tried and tried 4 times over a well or so before getting to the bottom of it. She is very pleasant and very patient, a credit to Aspire’s Customer Service Team. I have been very pleased with Aspire, the system works well and their CS Team is the best I have ever encountered.

Great products for village halls

We've now installed Inspire Automation thermostats in our two main halls connected to our Hallmaster Booking System. This means that we don't have to worry about forgetting to heat the rooms for our many bookings or failing to turn the heating off when not required. The ability for users to boost the heating for an hour by just two touches on the thermostat is much appreciated by users of our village hall.

The Inspire App is great and gives full control of our heating from both my iPhone and desktop computer.

The annual licence fee will be well worth the money for the convenience.

Genuinely great service and help from…

Genuinely great service and help from Abby (using the web chat and email)!

I’m a landlord, like many / most with Inspire Home Autotmation, and I got myself into a real mess (totally my fault) with the Inspire Ignite thermo and app.

I won’t go into it, as it’s embarrassing, but in a slightly panicked state I started a web chat and a short while later the problem that I thought may be huge was totally resolved by Abby and the Inspire team.

I was stressed…but now I’m not!

Great app functionality too!

Morgan was very helpful over Whatsapp…

Morgan was very helpful over Whatsapp when I was struggling to install a smart sensor.

Working it through we discovered the problem was me!

As an agent, I recommend Inspire to all our HMO landlords. The product, and the support are excellent.

A Perfect Solution

I have used this companies products for many years both as a gas engineer and now I am retired aa the end customer.
Its not often I get stuck with these very reliable units but today I had a complex issue I couldnt resolve.

I rang the helpline it was answered by Morgan in two minutes. She was so knowledgable and patient. Talked me through the issue in 5 minutes, tidied up my App that I had messed up and left me running.
Morgan is a credit and asset to Inspire Automation. Competitors take note.

Abby the customer service queen!

I dealt with Abby on the chat service about diagnosing a problem an getting a new Lite sensor sent out. She blasted my expectations. She was prompt, polite, professional and courteous, and did what she said she was going to do, when she said she was going to do it. It's been a very pleasant experience dealing with her in a world of so many "computer says no" people.

Outstanding Support from Inspire Huge…

Outstanding Support from Inspire Huge Thanks to Abbey & Georgina!

I recently had an issue with my thermostat one of my HMO heating systems went down just a day before I was due to go on holiday. It could have been an incredibly stressful situation, but thanks to the incredible team at Inspire, it was anything but.

I spoke with Abbey and Georgina, and I have to say, they were beyond helpful. From the moment I got in touch, they handled everything with professionalism, urgency, and genuine care. They went above and beyond to ensure the problem was resolved quickly and efficiently, giving me total peace of mind before my trip.

Thanks to their dedication and support, I was able to go away without worrying and that made all the difference. I truly can’t thank Abbey and Georgina enough, and I’m so impressed with Inspire as a company. Fantastic service from start to finish. Highly recommended!

I was on the chat box and asked Abby if…Great customer service.

I was on the chat box and asked Abby if she could call me instead, she did and it made the whole process easier. She also went off to get advice on a couple of other heating systems and responded with a very thorough email detailing what I had to do.
It was nice to talk to someone who wanted to help. Doesn`t happen very often. Thank you.
