Sharing this so you don't have to learn the hard way like I did. THIS IS A SCAM SITE

In fairness they sent me a report but it cost 5 quid anywhere else.

They prey on inexperienced people listing cars on auto trader or similar sites. They dress themselves up as genuinely interested in the car. They say all the right things, work to set up a viewing and just before coming they politely request a VI check and recommend this company.

Check yourself on companies house the business is dissolved yet they are still operating as business.

Unfortunately I made the purchase and the money is now in an offshore account in Dubai :(

Scam website. Reports do not exist.
Contacted shortly after putting ad on Autotrader. Car for his wife blah blah will pay full price after report received.

Georgia Wade, told her she'd need to get up earlier in the morning to catch me out. Just be careful, counter their offer with a HPI and they'll say no, then call them a scammer.

Same as everyone else says, someone offered me asking price for a vehicle that I'm selling, he said he wanted a report from this website, the report I offered wasn't good enough. At a guess all the money from paying for the 'report' goes into their pocket.

It's a scam site. Listed my vehicle on minitogo and received an offer of full asking price subject to buying a report. Sent my Total Car check one over and it wasn't acceptable to them. Had to pay £30 for their one. Losers.....

It's a well-thought-out scam, I'll give it that.
Advertise a vehicle, someone contacts you in a rush to purchase... but they need a report first from this specific company only. If the report is good, they'll bring cash tomorrow.
An RAC or AA report isn't good enough. Neither is HPI or any other company. Only these guys.
Cash tomorrow without seeing the vehicle? If it sounds too good to be true...

The potential buyer of my car advertisedon Gumtree wanted a UCE report. When I used a different site, they said they would only accept one from UK Inspect Vehicle. They spent a day on whatsapp from 07480824325

I’ve just been contacted by George, whose wife had seen my advert selling a motorbike. He asked me to get an IC report ready for him to come and see the bike tomorrow. The bike has a fresh mot done today and I to.d him that with the logbook I didn’t need an IC report. I called him out as a scammer, he hasn’t responded.

Just been contacted by ‘Shawn Murray’ about a car I’m selling on Facebook wanted to come and view it, I got major vibes from him and luckily he messaged my mother and I got his mobile phone number! 07849367125 - which as soon as I googled it came to this website so again more Scam’s going on!

Fraudulent website, a person contacted us about our motorhome for sale, offering full price but wanting us to use the website to check the van. Saying he wanted a CVR report and MOT details. Then saying he would only use this website even after I said it was a scam.
His name was Edward Palmer and he also had a “locked” Facebook profile meaning you could barely see any info.

I had the same experience as other people. Listed a vehicle, got a response for my ad within an hour of listing. Offered full price before even checking the vehicle out, with the only condition being getting the vehicle report from this specific website.. Thankfully, I had the sense to check the review in Trustpilot before proceeding to do it and was able to avoid being scammed. Btw, this time the name was John D Bunch

A guy replied, My announcement within hours of publishing marketingplace. Alan Wood all guys asking for this inspection are scans..

As everyone says. It’s a scam. TobyFranklin responded very quickly to my motorcycle ad. Asked sensible questions then sent a link for a vehicle check which they offered to pay if it is good. Costs £25 and you don’t get a report. They seemed to have cloned a legitimate web site with a similar name.

This is a scam.

Do not fall for it. ICI reports done exist.

Use car vertical or any other reputable company that checkout via PayPal do you are protected!

beware of William Benson on Marketplace doing the same trick.

Like everyone else got contacted within minutes of placing a marketplace ad for my bike. Very keen buyer called Scott asking to come round next day if I gave him the MOT and IV report. I googled it and came across the other reviews. Told the buyer I wouldn't be doing it and they disappeared!

SCAM - beware the name Thomas Henson!

Contacted by Louise James soon as I put the add up. Wants me to pay for inspection check from this website but reading reviews I think and also my friend told me about scam. So I will give a miss.
