Inspections Too - Beware!

This company is one of the worst service providers I've ever dealt with. We made a warranty claim on our vinyl plank floor, and this company reached out to set the appointment for an "independent third party" inspection. When I reached out, they told me that it may be 4-5 weeks before they could get to our place because they needed to double it up with some other inspections because we are four hours from them and they needed to make it worthwhile for them! That was the first red flag, considering there are likely dozens of other companies that do this that were much closer to us. Well, that 5 weeks turned into about 12 weeks before they made it. The owner showed up and immediately saw the problem. We walked him through all the details, and he spent an hour and half taking pictures and measurements. He attempted to ingratiate himself to us with all kinds of political commentary, and implied that our claim was a shoe-in because of the specifics and the conditions he observed. However, when we got the report weeks later, he made several factual errors in the inspection report that in my opinion may have been to protect his client - the manufacturer of the product. I reached out several times by email and phone to have him correct the demonstrably false statements in the report (that resulted in our claim being denied), and he never returned my calls, and never responded to my emails in which I called him and his company out for lying on the report. What does that say about him and his company? Decide for yourself.
