Sensitivity Reading for Trans Character

Inkarakter provided sensitivity reading for my transgender character in my book, Dissonance. They read the necessary chapters and provided valuable insight and suggestions that I implemented. I really wanted my book to represent a trans man authentically and respectfully, and Inkarakter made that a reality.
I highly recommend sensitivity reading, and fully intend to use this service again!

Professional/Thorough/Helpful

INKaracter was an integral part of the publishing process for my novel.
Daniel's comprehensive line editing, along with pointers added within the editing process, helped clean up my manuscript. I struggle with POV, but Daniel helped me find those mistakes, and made suggestions on how to improve. I also struggle with wordiness. Daniel's edits and suggestions helped the story with flow, readability, and pacing. I wasn't able to do the one-on-one video chat with Daniel during the editing process, but immediately following, I did, and he kindly took the time to answer my questions and offered suggestions for me and my future endeavors.
I look forward to working with Daniel and INKaracter again in the future. Highly recommend!
