wanted to buy a DNS, found one with good renewal price, they force me to sign up asking me for dozen of informations before paying, when finishing the payment process they say you can't reserve more than 1 year up. Since I migrated my data from google and microsoft to Inkomaniak I'm very satisfied. The support is very active and a solution is found quickly. The support at google or microsoft was very difficult to contact. The quality of the services provided by Infomaniak (I'm using mainly kdrive and email from the ksuite but also swiss transfert) are very stable and reliable.

Lots of great tools from office suite, to cloud services, web hosting, many servers options (vps, kubernetes, s3) and very helpful support. Great cheaper alternative to other big cloud providers.

Infomaniak is a very interesting supplier of Cloud and Mail Servies. It seems they are mainly targeting on Business Customers.
But also the ksuite (no cost at all) has so many features, that you can test ist in your private environment. No Ads (sometimes some fair hints on the other product ksuite+, if yot want more memory... or something like that). It runs on Thunderbird and also kdrive App on Linux.
kDrive (Cloud) is 15GB, that is as much as Gmail!
20GB Mail-Memory.
And even support is included. Very good.
Abolutely recommended!

Rubbish company involved in deceptive advertising. I can't signup for an account from Romania yet they flaunt the EU flag on the signup error page, and only list a handful of member states and a couple non-members.

Pros:
1. kDrive cloud storage works excellently.
kDrive has a desktop app and website of their cloud storage that synchronise perfectly together.
With the desktop app you can simply work in your Windows, macOS and Linux operating systems. You can see all your files in Windows File Explorer or any other program that you use to view your files. You then have all the functions of your operating system that you always have at your disposal.
All files that you put in this desktop app synchronise quickly and perfectly with the kDrive website.
So you do not have to work in your internet browser, but you work in the desktop app.
The big advantage of this method is that you do not have to save files locally on your hard drive. Your hard drive can easily become infected with viruses and ransomware, but in cloud storage this chance is minimal.
Of course you can also put your files on your hard drive and synchronise them with the website, but then infected files are also synchronised. I strongly advise against this.
However, I do recommend making a regular backup of your kDrive on external storage. But no synchronisation!
If the backup on your hard drive gets infected with a virus or ransomware, you will still have the original files in your kDrive in the cloud.
2. You can edit office files and watch videos right away in the kDrive app on your phone or on the kDrive website. These files don’t have to be downloaded first, as with most other cloud storage services.
Imagine that you first have to download a video of 2GB or larger on your phone before you can watch it. The download takes a long time, and you lose a lot of storage capacity on your phone. Of course, you want to watch your videos right away and not a few hours later, after your files have been downloaded.
3. kDrive apps are well designed and work also perfect on your phone in iOS and Android.
4. kDrive staff do their utmost to answer your emails within approximately two to three days.
I always receive a polite and serious response that shows that the staff understands my questions and has the expertise to solve problems or provide the correct answers.
5. Because Infomaniak's servers are located in Switzerland, your data is safe. This is in contrast to American cloud services from Google, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, etc. who have to share their data with the American administration if they ask for it.
6. Prices are competitive compared to other cloud services.
Cons:
1. Quoted prices on the website are EXCLUDING tax. But this is only mentioned at the time you have to pay, it's not clearly mentioned on the main website.
2. kSuite Enterprise has a complete unnecessary and disturbing folder 'Common folder'. The manual reads: "Do not rename and/or move the default folders either on the Web version or locally, as this causes synchronisation issues."
Hence, why do these folders have the ability to be renamed and moved if this causes problems?
3. It is mandatory to create an 'ik.me' email address for kDrive. Why this nonsense?
Everyone has an email address. Why do we have to create an 'ik.me' email address for kDrive? This is also complained about in some reviews on Trustpilot.
4. kDrive includes kSuite (software equivalent with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access), email box, chat program, kMeet (equivalent with Microsoft Teams) and other unnecessary stuff which nobody ever will use.
Why should users change their email to an 'ik.me' email address? Of course, everybody will use a Google, Yahoo or other email address of a big company or just the email address of the company people work for.
In the past I had email addresses of my two previous internet providers. The internet providers were acquired by big companies and the email addresses were closed.
Therefore, NEVER use an email address of a small company such as Infomaniak!!!
Why a chat program? Everybody uses WhatsApp or Signal which are end-to-end encrypted? There's no use at all for a chat program of Infomaniak!
5. If you decide to use kSuite on your phone you have to download apps for each application. There's also something called 'kDrive management console' which includes kDrive and kSuite with all applications. But this management console is only a website, not an app. Why not just creating an app 'kDrive management console' which includes everything?
6. On the website of Infomaniak we read that kSuite Enterprise includes Microsoft Office Online. But it's not mentioned that Microsoft Office Online only works on the website of kDrive, not in the desktop application.
On the contrary, Microsoft 365 (online version) works in Windows, iOS, etc.
In short I can say that kSuite Enterprise is an excellent and fast cloud storage with well-developed software.
However, there is still room for improvement as described above!
I have been with Infomaniak for about / at least 15 years, love it. I have had very few problems in all this time, the support has been excellent when needed, their ethos and their actions on climate responsibility are admirable.

I can't unsubscribe from their newsletter in which they announce products that are of no interest to me because apparently it contains "important information". It's disappointing to see that a Swiss company like Infomaniak doesn't respect the privacy of their customers.
Edit: Your "one-time communication[s]" take place about once a week, including useless information about how to use emojis in emails. You simply don't care about the privacy of your customers. Also, the preferences you talk about don't exist.

infomaniak is php only needless to say that it's no specified anywhere until you take an hosting service (Who works with php in 2025 duh ????)
