Trying to purchase an HEB gift card using two different credit cards, and both purchases failed. Now, I have FOUR pending credit card transactions on my credit cards. Thanks for a sh*t service! No idea why HEB is associated with such a sh*t-show of an operation.

Vanilla Gift cards might as well be an…

Vanilla Gift cards might as well be an Interest Free loan that you never agreed to give InComm. I paid $300 cash to buy a Vanilla Gift card as my family was going to Ford Field for an event. Ford Field is a cashless venue. We get there, we use about a 1/3 of the card. Then the rest gets put on hold. I call to have the hold released and get some nonsense about needing to wait 30 days. I never agreed to give InComm a 30-day interest free loan, and neither did half of the people reviewing them here. Trash product by a trash company. We’re in class action lawsuit territory here. If you or anybody you know has had a similar experience with any of InComm’s products, not just Vanilla Gift card, I want to know about it. Email sueincomm26 at gmail com. Thank you.

I received a $500 gift card for my birthday and checked the balance in early February 2026—it was correct at $500. A few days ago, I went to use it in-store and the transaction failed. When I checked the balance, it was suddenly $0.

I called InComm customer service and they told me there was a $500 Uber transaction! This is impossible—I never used the card. Which Uber service costs $500? They said they would investigate, but it’s been over a week with no update.

After reading many similar reviews, I am convinced this is a scam. There should be a way to hold them accountable legally. I’m sharing my experience so others don’t fall victim to this. Avoid this company at all costs.

Issued a rewards card by Spectrum for switching to their service. Half of the funds on the card were stolen. Provided Incomm proof of stolen funds and they claim to be issuing replacement card. Took a long time to get required dispute form. Keep receiving messages in bad English wanting additional information and claiming over and over replacement card is being issued. Have no confidence that I will ever see that card.

These clowns are scammers

These clowns are scammers. I received a $100 gift card on Christmas Day. A day ago I opened it and it has the numbers white out and $25 was already skimmed. Rang the number on the card and it led to a phishing email. I've sent all emails and recorded phone calls to the FEDS. Good luck low life's!

My Road to Rewards Bonus Gift Card from…

My Road to Rewards Bonus Gift Card from work was fraudulently charged $8,025.50, and despite providing all necessary documentation and evidence, my claim has been denied without a reasonable explanation. Their customer service has been unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to resolve the issue. This experience has caused me significant stress and financial concern. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with them, as they do not appear to take fraud claims seriously or protect their customers. I FEEL LIKE THE COMPANY IS WHO.IS RIPPING PEOPLE OFF.. COMPLETE SCAM

Vanilla Gift Card / InComm Payments: Funds Stolen Before Activation, No Investigation, No Accountability

My $500 Vanilla Gift card card was drained before activation. InComm closed the case in days with no investigation, no receipt review, no card photos, and no explanation. I was sent in circles between InComm and Walgreens, told there was “no reason” for the denial, and had calls terminated. I had to file a police report and state complaints. If your card is compromised, don’t expect accountability. Avoid Vanilla Gift Cards.

Scam! Con!

Received a gift card from this company almost a years ago! Within 2 months of having it, there was an unknown charge so I filed a dispute. Was informed that they would mail out a new card with the remaining balance on it while they investigate the dispute. That card never came! Fast forward to today 12/29/25 and I recieved an email with the dispute findings. After almost a year of waiting, they then decided that NOW that the charge has been a year ago, per the agreement on the papers that came with the card, the dispute was past the allotted time for a dispute! So they waited until the time frame to file a dispute was past and then used that as an excuse to deny the claim!

Scammed and nothing can be done

I bought a 200 dollar card back in July 2025 .called them because I opened the card up was on the phone with bell at the time I opened the card I gave bell the card number and what they needed to take payment from the card I had a bell bill to pay of $170.00 the bell representative said that the card was declined I was shocked and demanded they try again cause I just bought the card best buy drove about 15 miles to my home and called bell and opened the card just as soon as I got home so I new it couldn't of been declined but has them try it again and then a lower amount but no it would not work got vanilla got incomm on the phone to learn it was hacked by tick tock video and 2 other payments all together $140 was taken so they locked the card so no other payments would be taken and said I had to go threw the Freud department witch would take up to 90 days from July and I have not heared nothing from them to this day since July. so any ways thought I'd try them again bought a 100 dollar visa today payed my mobile account with the card it was 45 dollars and then 1 hour later went to order a pizza the card that should of had 55 more left to spend the pizza was $26.00 so I called them and was told they froze the $55 dollars because they thought it was compromised and for my protection was seized by the company and for my protection that they send out a card for the remaining balance that would take up to 45 days and was told could be longer since there is a mail strike so when the mail strike ends when ever that will be I will receive the new card 45 days after the strike ends got extremely frustreighted with the company because and asked about the 200 dollar card while I was already on the phone was asking about how the investigation was going on the card that I bought in July for 200 whilebiness done complaining about the 100 dollar card I bought wanted to see how it was going and she told me since I updated my address with them that it would be up to another 90 more days for the desputed 200 dollar card to be investigated so apparently I won't have my money back no if there doing anything to repair this problem or pay me back or to resolve me being freuded I am so done I can only say I never buy another card from vanilla or poker or anything that is from this company I can imagine how much money they make not from the cards being purchased but just by then freezing cards and no one claims them because we can't do anything about it I am scammed again n not nothing I have tried works and there's no one I can talk to but over seas people that say same thing everytime they say it's still pending I'll probley die before I get an answer or money back . Don't buy stay away from this company please I'm trying to save you your cash .

I was given a $100 gift card. The card would not work. I was told I must call them. i did that several times to the tune of several hours invested. Then I was told I must mail them a letter. Did that too. No response. TOTAL RIP OFF.

Do not buy their giftcards!

My experience was terrible

My experience was terrible. We received a rewards card in early January 2025. In May, I wanted to use the card, but couldn't recall how much the card was worth and so I called the company's customer service office. I was told that the card was on hold for 2 or 3 questionable transactions. In speaking with the CS agent, I immediately discovered that those charges occurred before the card was even in our possession. The agent explained how to dispute the charges and I proceeded with the required action immediately. Today, 3 months after filing the dispute, I received a letter rejecting our request. The reason given: we waited too long to file the claim. But, I am not sure how I was supposed to recognize that I needed to file a dispute, since we had not even used the card at that point. I certainly won't respond to any future offers that feature a rewards card funded by Incomm.
