Always a good shopping experience, the only negative is that I live in Spain and so the return postage can be expensive if things don't fit. But in all other ways I love this company! :)

Great shopping experience!
I'm really pleased with my shopping experience. The package was sent I think the exact same day as I ordered it. It came in a very pretty packaging and some dehydrated flowers, which were really nice touches and I really appreciated them 🌼!
The top that I ordered was exactly as pictured in the photos listed on the site. Overall a great experience. Will definitely do it again!

Very bad and dissappointing purchase experience
i received a generous gift certificate to Imparfaite as a lovely birthday surprise from a favorite relative. I spent hours finding 3 items that I would wear as a group and was excited about my fun package on the way from Paris! I was really glad to know I could even have all my items packaged together and get one box!!
But after my purchase was complete, the next day I received 'sad news' about the main item, a dress. Turns out it was sold. But it wasn't sold when I bought and paid for it and was given a receipt.
I've since received the other 2 items, in great shape from responsible sellers. But this site is not properly run if a seller can retract a purchased piece after a sale is complete.
This is the worst online shopping experience I have ever had. And ruined what should have been a fun birthday experience in the middle of a terrifying and tragic pandemic year.
Shame on you Imparfaite.

We know international shipping fees might be a little expensive and may prevent you from ordering on a more regular basis.However they are the minimum possible, as they are only based on the postal services official costs visible on their website. We don't add any cost, you only pay the shipping fees they provide.
What we suggest you do in order to lower your basket total is to negotiate prices with sellers and order several items at the same time to combine these shipping expenses with the grouped delivery option.

Annoying website and customer experience
I bought a number of things from different sellers on Imparfaite recently. It mostly went well enough, with some annoyances: there are constant popups saying new customers get 10% off (one time is enough), the website switches between French and English at will, and when you buy a cart from one seller, your other shopping carts disappear, so you have to find those items all over again. That's all annoying, but I'm most unhappy about one purchase in particular – I used Imparfaite's 'Levi's 501 calculator' to pick jeans, which (it turns out) just did not fit me. I should have originally got out my tape measure and trusted that instead. Annoyingly, the customer is responsible for organising and paying for returns (I did not notice this before purchasing, my fault), but that doesn't make the result less silly: essentially, from paying shipping and organising returns, I've lost about 18 Euros for the privilege of trying on jeans that absolutely don't fit, plus the lost time in postage shops. I won't be buying from Imparfaite again.
