Ship from USA to Kenya Reviews 

I do a lot of shipments from the UK and US and I most times have an issue with pricing. I've used African Salihiya, Kentex, StatesDuka, Savo and the issue of volume has always triggered bad emotions but this one has the most genuine pricing. You pay for weight. That's it. Nothing else meant to fleece your pockets

This was my first time using iMail to ship items from US. My disclaimer here is i had not read any reviews. I have previously used Kentex Cargo who were honest, reliable but slightly expensive. The term "cheap is expensive" is true and especially in this case.

I ordered items online that were all delivered to iMail staten address by 9th August. The items shipped out on the 21st August. This was after following their instructions in sending all details of all packages to ship out. I had a total of 5 packages. They confirmed receipt of 5 packages and shared photos to confirm. I was told that by Thursday, 26th, i will have the goods delivered to me. Things went downhill once the goods arrived in Kenya.

I received the invoice in my inbox to pay for the packages on 27th August despite (delay/ problem number 1). Once i made payments, i was told i would receive the good by Friday, 27th. Delivery was made on Sunday afternoon despite my constant emails requesting information. The cherry ontop of the cake, they have misplaced one of the packages (i have only received 4 packages). The fact that i have to send email after email following up on my package is least to say frustrating. I have no contact number to call other than the contact in USA which no one picks. Right now the most up to date information i have on email is that they have received my information and will contact me... Still waiting to see if this package will reach me. This will be the first and last time i use iMail and would not recommend you use them unless you are comfortable with the potential of your packages missing and dealing with such poor communication.

A lot has improved since they started using Kenya Airways. Better not go back to slow airlines otherwise keep up the good improvements

DO NOT SEND your packages to staten island NY location.. There is no one to receive packages and carriers deliver packages anywhere on the side of the building .. even if it says dock, probably it got left out somewhere along the public road.. they DONT deliver to the storage facility front desk or to the unit 3623 itself..
Ship with Salihiya or Kentex or Savastore who atleast will receive packages

Very good communication. You seem to be learning from your mistakes. If a shipment is going to be late, communicate. If anything of relevance is happening with the shipment, communicate. So keep this bit of communication up

They just delivered my goods. Very respectful rider.

Total disappointment. Had to cancel my pay with M-Pesa order after 3 days without any communication, action on the order or replies to my constant emailed follow-ups.
Nairobi office agents is just a collection center, you will not get any assistance there.

Poor website experience. Things are all over the place.
Browser tabs got full after a few clicks.
I was unable to change my payment method from DPO to mpesa.
There is no way to change payment method on website.
Kenyan team took hours to respond via WhatsApp.
Kenyan team was unable to help. Instead of helping they were asking whether to refer me to the US team. Why should I care which team helps me? I just needed help.
Kenyan team doesn't seem to care. No followup.
Cheaper pricing than Kentex.
Switched to Kentex.

Why they still claim "2 Weeks" delivery on their website is beyond me. It's nothing short of false advertising.

Everything I feel about this company, from how they've handled shipment, to clueless customer service and referring us to a 3rd party and finally to NEVER EVER recommending ImailKenya to anyone has been captured by Duncan below.

How can a shipment take two months honestly???! February 2nd to date, back to reputable companies.

I think you should point out your reply to the woman who handles your Kenyan office number as she's the one who gives these figures and God knows what exchange rate she uses while converting...All done from her side on package pickup and again $13.89 was the charge given by her when asked the dollar amount being converted.

My package was delivered to the US address on 7th March, I have not been given any update whatsoever. I have tried calling the number provided and all I get is reply that they are looking into it. Is my package misplaced or what. Its my first time using iMail services and I am disappointed.

The disappointment continues. 6 weeks later and no package in sight. The updates on the website are just pushing dates forward. Imagine telling your kids every week that delivery of their toys has been pushed forward by another week. Never again..
