A True Blessing
This review is long overdue! I should have written it a year ago.
On our 50th Wedding Anniversary back then I told my husband that the best gift I could ever have was not to plan menus and cook any more. Don’t get me wrong. I used to love to cook and was known as quite a good one whether for family or dinner parties or for a hundred graduate students! We love good food but I was tired and having mobility challenges.
Here comes Barb into our lives (after a little research on my part).
Simply put, she, her talents, and her staff have been (and continue to be) a true blessing.
We use her weekly service of three entrees and have enjoyed the varied and delicious dishes. We have also worked with her to adjust the menu to address diabetes at times.
Friends have raised an eyebrow when I share what we have done as if to say that it must be nice if you can afford it. However, truth be told, we are now spending less on food than before. And, more importantly, we waste much less food overall. The days of food brought but never prepared have passed.
I’ve gone on quite a bit, but I wanted to explain fully why we so appreciate Barb and her entire staff. Quality, service, taste, sensible proportions, and cost are the many reasons. They are also very nice people!
