Had to call Ilford emergency plumbing in an emergency in the evening and were charged £180 just to book a plumber to come out. When we booked, was not made clear that we would have to pay £180 twice over - one for the booking and one for the actual call out. When the engineer came we didn’t have any heating or hot water for almost 48 hours despite having two vulnerable adults in the house. The plumber also did not turn up on the following day despite messaging to say he was on his way. We had to wait until Saturday. All in all a very expensive and not great experience from start to finish. First and last time we would use this type of service.
