I started a journey to study online towards a DProf degree through Ikonskills Microcredential (MC) route. My first experience was incredible. I was able to pace myself through the 10 competencies. The feedback was swift, constructive, and honest. I build on the suggestions from the feedback and I kept improving as I went along.

I completed two IKON SKILLS micro-credentials in October 2026: AI Policy & Governance Analyst and ESG Reporting Analyst, each comprising ten competencies. Every competency follows the same clear and structured pathway: a short lesson, a worked example, a reflection, three scenario-based formative assessments, and a summative assessment, with a 75% pass mark.

The standout for me was the quality of the assessor feedback. It was specific to what I had submitted, clearly explaining what earned marks and identifying what was missing, whether that was an unnamed regulation, a control without an owner or deadline, or the absence of an escalation route. Most importantly, I could apply that feedback immediately, carrying the learning forward from one competency to the next.

For me, that is what makes a micro-credential genuinely valuable: not simply earning the badge, but leaving each assessment better equipped to apply the learning in practice.

The self-learning mode really helped me. I loved it. Another thing that I liked about it is the economy of it. $14.99, you cannot beat the price for that level of learning. However, people who are not self-motivated, this is not for them. It's not a classical university course.

As an education professional, I found IKON SKILLS™ to be a refreshing change from traditional online courses. The AI-driven assessments kept me thinking, applying my knowledge, and reflecting on my professional practice rather than simply memorizing information. I particularly appreciated the immediate, constructive feedback, which made the learning experience more engaging and meaningful. A promising approach to the future of education!

I have done a few courses with IkonSkills and I can say the micro credentials there are good. To me, the mode of delivery is revolutionary. the AI led tutoring turns the learning process into a one-on-one personalized tutor-learner experience. you get more insight from the AI tutor. the AI also teaches you based on how well you understand the topic and concentrates on areas where you fall short.

My experience pursuing the Doctor of Professional Practice in Strategic & Organizational Leadership through IKON has been both enriching and thought-provoking.

The programme offers valuable practical learning that goes beyond theoretical knowledge. It has challenged me to think more critically, broaden my perspectives, and examine leadership and organisational challenges from a macro and strategic standpoint.

The platform is clear, flexible, and easy to use, making micro‑credentials manageable during busy schedules. The Ikon Practitioner pathway provides practical, relevant tasks, and the digital badges help me present verified skills confidently. Performance could improve slightly on low‑bandwidth connections, but overall, it’s a credible and valuable learning experience.

Great overall experience. Great for short courses or degree build up.
