o change in the order status... from the first moment

The online order was placed and payment was completed at the same time on April 16. I received both the confirmation email and SMS. According to the information provided, the order was expected to be delivered within 5 working days, but it did not arrive.
What is even more concerning is that on April 24, I contacted customer service by phone to ask about this delay, and they were unable to provide any explanation. As of today, there has been no change in the order status.

Waiting 9 months now for a €3000…

Waiting 9 months now for a €3000 refund. Promised it would be returned countless times but it never happens. Called and emailed loads of times, but they make false promises and ignore emails. Avoid, terrible company.

Scammers

Scammers. Common street thieves. Long story short, order arrived partially (one item out of three) after multiple delays. I refused to accept it, have proof it has been cancelled via email yet they only refunded one item. Continue to promise to return the money over the phone yet I had to dispute via Paypal. Goes to say that even big brands, when they operate in a lawless state, and sell their franchise to scammers can have their brand destroyed.

This is the absolutely worst experience…

This is the absolutely worst experience I’ve ever had. I’ve lived in numerous countries and used IKEA multiple times, but nothing compares to the rudeness of the employees at IKEA Kifisos in Athens. Absolutely terrible behavior, ignoring us and having an attitude for asking questions. I was met with anger for asking for delivery and help with my options, since I don’t have a Greek phone number to put on the order (me and my gf both have foreign numbers, which they don’t accept). Besides the rudeness of the employees, it seems like discrimination is in the DNA of the IKEA stores in Greece, since it’s very limited what options you have for ordering items for pickup, delivery etc. as a foreigner without a Greek phone number. I’d recommend other stores than IKEA in Greece; it’s not what you’re used to in terms of IKEA standards from other countries.

IKEA incompetence

I placed an order on 4/12/2025 and paid via PayPal the same day. The delivery company (BoxNow) lost the package. From that point on, IKEA did absolutely nothing to resolve the issue.
I contacted customer service on 10/12/2025 and was promised a callback that never came. I called again on 17/12 and received the same empty promise. Two emails were ignored. Weeks passed with no follow-up, no investigation, and no accountability.
With no response from IKEA, I was forced to open a dispute through PayPal. PayPal confirmed that IKEA received my case details on 31/12/2025. Despite this formal intervention by PayPal, IKEA still made no attempt to contact me or resolve the issue.
Only after I escalated the PayPal dispute — with a final deadline of 15/1/2026 — did IKEA finally respond, on the very last day allowed by PayPal, offering to send half the items and refund the other half. This was after weeks of complete silence.

The fact that IKEA acted only under PayPal pressure, and only at the final deadline, speaks volumes about how customer issues are handled. This was not customer service; it was forced compliance.
I will never order from IKEA again, and I strongly advise others to avoid doing so.

I bought a paintings online. It looked different then on the page. Lights faded and in general like not the same picture. Canva was so thin i could see woods from underneath. So i requested return. Still waiting for courier to pick up the order. Twice called ikea already. Its second week

IKEA GREECE online store THE WORST…

IKEA GREECE online store THE WORST THING EVER!!!!! We ordered a sofa online with my husband, after a few days we got a text about the delivery, supposedly the same day… without saying the exact timeframe or anything…well the days has gone by and no sofa. We called customer service several times and they are rude, unprofessional and after three days we are still waiting for our order to be delivered. They told us to call the delivery company and the number they gave us is not available… it’s just the worst experience ever and I wish someone could do something about it .

Worst company EVER!!!
Thieves, could care less about your order only want to collect your money
Received partial delivery missing one bed! It has been two months off request calling and no one know anything! Games that’s all they know to play!,
I have not received the bed or my money back so far
Wait till I get to Athens they are crooks
I urge everyone to go to ikea store and cause a scene about your complaints and orders, or else nothing is being done!,,

The worst experinece and employers…

The worst experinece and employers ever. Greece.
I bought something online did not get an email I had to send one to see what was up, with my order
No number to track nothing.
They took ages to answer that they messed up in the warehouse. Then I said I want to cancel and they said no its on ist way but it wasnt then it was to come three weeks later I get a confirmation that it's on its way and one that the order was cancelled.
They can't do their job right. I talked to an employer on the phone and even she was laughing about this whole mess.
Very bad costumer service the worsd.

missing package

I had a bad experience before with my package being delayed but thought I would give them one more chance.
After 3 phone calls and an email from them to confirm pick up point and time -12August 10am - on the island that we stay, nobody showed up.
Numerous calls and emails later , now the 2nd of September, nobody knows where the package is and customer support is yet to call me back. Never again.
