Love the idea of ihire, I'm sure it was the employers not putting correct details, and it was only with one company. The job said completely remote when the company preferred you lived close. Which I'm in Alabama and they are in Washington.

While the company line is that they make it clear you are signing up for a monthly subscription that will automatically renew each month (at the tune of $369.00), as an end user, I did not find that to be clear at all. Additionally, when it was discovered, after being charged for 2 months, and I canceled it at the beginning of the 3rd month, I was not refunded the cost of the posting, I was issued a "store credit". Insult to injury, our posting there, which was for a very specialized type of security position, did not yield a single candidate. When I spoke with a Customer Service Manager asking for the actual refund, they just kept touting the company line of "our policies are very clear". Then, to twist the knife, they followed up that unsatisfactory phone call by supposedly resending the original "refund" email sent at the beginning of the month, only it was NOT the original (I still have the original one). It was one they had doctored to add additional wording to make it seem like they had been clear about the "store credit".
