ID Mobile Ireland are in fact ID Mobile…

ID Mobile Ireland are in fact ID Mobile UK part of Carphone Warehouse and the Dixons Group of Companies. They are not registered with Oftel and any/all complaints need to go through the Ombudsman which can take months. Their African Call centres are absolutely appalling but then the company has a culture of Deny and blame the customer policy. They are probably the worst Mobile phone company out they're so please be warned. ID Mobile Ireland is in fact ID Mobile UK and reading their UK Trustpilot reviews will tell you about this company. Fortunately they dont monitor the Ireland Truspilot windows so you will see only genuine disgruntled ratings whereas the UK trust pilot is full of Fake positive posts created by ID Mobile employee's by the company to offset the amount of genuine negative posts

DIRTY THIEVES

DIRTY THIEVES

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY

Won't honour their word, They give you option to cap data, but then months later will bill you for overage, same with Minutes.

Also they dont advertise that there are exit fees regardless contract status.

Thats right, you have to pay to leave even the network even if your contract is over.

You will wish you never took out a contract.

This is the worst mobile company I have ever been with.

Cheap prices reflect the absolute disaster this company is, its cheap for a reason. No customer service whatsoever, On hold for over 2 hours.

Also they are located in South Africa, None of the staff can understand english.

Avoid at all costs.

Prepare To be Disappointed

Prepare To be Disappointed. They don't mean what they advertise.
Applied and approved on line including my bank statement. When got to the shop to collect it I went through the same process again. Expecting to pay nothing but willing to commit 2 years contract with them as what approved. Then during assessment Iam being ask to pay 300euro plus upfront. Almost the price of pay as you go phone.

Customer Services are anything but!

I have not received my sim card but called customer services again to cancel the account having now received their bill. The representative of the company, who refused to give his name, said I could not cancel until I received the card. I asked how I would be able to cancel if I never received the card? I explained I had called a few days ago and he denied I had because I had not spoken to him! The representative ended the call by introducing the feedback recorded message. I left appropriate feedback.

My previous call to notify my wish to cancel was when I discovered IDmobile do not allow tethering. The representative on that occasion told me I was wrong and that tethering was permitted. Their website says otherwise.

I am not sure about their quality as a SIM provider but as far as customer services go they deserve zero stars.

DO NOT EVER JOIN THIS NETWORK!

No service in rural areas whatsoever, frequent total network blackouts nationwide. No help in store, can't pay bills online, still on hold after 30 minutes trying to cancel this rubbish. Initially I accepted these problems as teething issues but no, this is a scam of a business. I have literally used 80% less data in the past 3 months than the three previous months due to how bad their service is. When you do eventually get through to them they are helpful, I can see the service improving massively in due time, but at the time of writing (Dec 2015) I would advise everybody to completely avoid this network. I was on the introductory offer of €15 for 20GB of data, 5000 mins and 5000 texts which is an insane offer but unfortunately was never able to use much of it.
