We had the absolute pleasure of spending 7 unforgettable days on safari with our guide and driver, Freddy, and we cannot express enough how grateful we are for his care, professionalism, and kindness.
From the very first day, Freddy treated us not just as guests, but as his own family. He was always attentive, patient, and genuinely invested in making sure we were comfortable, safe, and happy at every moment of our journey. His warmth and sincerity made us feel completely at ease, even in a new and unfamiliar environment.
Freddy's knowledge of wildlife and the land was truly impressive, and thanks to him, we were able to experience incredible moments that we will remember for the rest of our lives. He always went the extra mile to find the best spots, share interesting stories, and ensure we didn't miss anything special.

We had the most unforgettable and exclusive safari experience in the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater thanks to Iconic Expeditions as the organizer and our incredible guide William.

We could see an amazing variety of animals up close like lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, elephants, antelopes, hyenas, buffaloes, hippos, leopards or monkeys as well as an abundant birdlife. We could also explore the rich flora and admire breathtaking landscapes, the views of which will stay with us forever. Iconic Expeditions made sure that the transport, game drives and night accommodation were organized perfectly and we felt truly taken care of. One of the highlights and a thrilling adventure at the same time was a night spent at a tented camp in the middle of the Serengeti bush, surrounded by wild animals. We could hear lions, and we guess hippos around. The tents were safe, spacious and well equipped.

William was not only an expert guide but also the kindest and extremely attentive companion throughout the trip. He shared his broad knowledge of the safari sites and their wildlife as well as the lives and customs of local people and Tanzania itself. He ensured that we had very safe and comfortable game drives and transport transfer in Tanzania, always adjusted to our needs. He could navigate our Toyota to provide us with the best and closest yet safe spot for taking photos. Each day of our game viewing, we were served a delicious meal in stunning surroundings.

Iconic Expeditions is a premium safari tour operator that made our honeymoon in Tanzania extra special and memorable. We experienced exceptional service (including the pre-trip communication with Katarina), had a super knowledgeable and friendly guide (big shoutout to Freddy!!!), and felt comfortable and safe in our safari vehicle the whole time (Toyota Land Cruiser). We visited Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti over 6 days and had a phenomenal experience in each park, as well as while traveling between parks. Our guide, Freddy, is a really big reason why we had such a wonderful experience.

Freddy is reliable, has excellent suggestions for when to start and finish our safari trips (while also being flexible to our preferences), and is a very safe driver who knows how to navigate safely around the animals (while ensuring we always had a great angle for photos). Freddy shared insightful information on the parks and Tanzania in general, and was extremely attentive at all times, friendly and fun to be with.

We were genuinely sad saying goodbye to Freddy at the end of our safari - we couldn't recommend Freddy and Iconic Expeditions more highly.

We planned our honeymoon trip with Katarina, and it was a great choice! She is full of knowledge and patience (we changed our mind a few times) and she always found a way to accommodate what we needed. The lodge we stayed at through her at Kruger was incredible, the drivers she organized were very professional and helpful throughout the trip and the internal flights were also great in terms of timing and locations! And all in all everything went seamlessly.
She knows what you look for on an adventurous and luxurious trip and it was the perfect balance. Will definitely be traveling with her again :) thanks Katarina!

Julia managed to plan our dream honeymoon in mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar. From action packed safari and tribe visits to romantic sunsets and deep dives in turquoise waters. She also offered us some tailor made gifts who made us feel extra spoiled. A special shoutout to our guide Freddie who was approachable,knowledgeable, patient, polite, flexible and gave us a unique safari experience. Very remarkable trip with Iconic Expeditions around Tanzania. We were surprised about service during safari - hot meals were served, safari furniture, cutleries were provided, champagne and different varieties of drinks for the ride. Car was new, always clean and neat. Also we got personalized gifts, which was very thoughtful. Our guide was very knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, and professional. Overall experience was simply amazing! Definitely recommended to travel with Iconic Expeditions.

We used Iconic Expeditions to book a safari and beach honeymoon and they were absolutely amazing. I reached out to dozens of travel agencies when booking my trip and the moment I heard back from Julia at Iconic Expeditions I knew she was the right choice. She was so patient listening to every request and change of itinerary and hand crafted the perfect trip with everything we wanted and more. She was extremely responsive, kind and trustworthy which made planning the trip a breeze. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone who is planning a safari and/or beach vacation in the future. The trip itself far exceeded our already high expectations. We went to Serengeti national park, Ngorogoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Zanzibar/Pemba Island. Our safari guide William was very knowledgeable, friendly and dedicated to giving us the best experience possible. He went out of his way to set up nice lunches while we were on game drives and get us the best views of all the animals. He truly made our experience so special and I feel very lucky we had him as our guide.

Once in a Lifetime Safari. Even if booked really late, we managed to visit all the places we asked for on our 4-day Safari. Our guide William, is a real pro: he always knew where to go to find the animals and I feel he knows every road there is in the parks. Also very flexible, we had lunch in the bush as he had table and chairs’just in case’ - and it was a real served lunch with plates and silverware not just lunchboxes like other companies. Really a pleasure to ride with him.

We spent 4 days on the safari in Tanzania with William. It was once in a lifetime experience. Everything was amazing. Accommodation, William’s knowledge about the parks and animals, luxurious lunches and driving were perfect. We saw many animals including the big five in their natural habitat and William always knew where to go. We would strongly recommend choosing this company!

William is the best guide out there. We took a 3 day Safari to 3 national parks. We were able to see all animals up close. William knows perfectly all the roads in each of the park and makes sure you are not in the crowded spots. He prepares lunch for you every day with hot fresh meal and does not use the take out boxes from lodges like other companies do. 10/10 I would recommend him as a guide for any safari tour.

Our trip was really well planned and well organized. The hotels were chosen nicely to our needs. The guide knew his business well and the ride was smooth on “African massage” roads )))

This migration experience goes on the top of our list. We covered seronera, udutu and ngorongoro and would have seen million wildbeasts, thousands of zebra, hundreds of giraffes, hippos and antelopes, more than 30 lions, 1 rhino. This was amidst a magical landscape of savannah grasslands, lakes, volcanic crater and unbelievable locations to stay. It also was inspiring to see the prehistoric site for first human fossil (Zinjanthropus).

Julia handcrafted it for our anniversary. The champagne and romantic lunches in middle of the forest and under the tree will occupy our minds for a long time. Silas was a great guide and an amazing person. He is resourceful in the Serengeti to gather information and works hard to ensure we do not miss anything while keeping a humourous environment. Lake Masek and Sametu camps were beautiful locations to stay and the service quality was great. We had multiple dietary requirements like vegetarian, gluten and dairy free etc...and all of these were wonderfully handled by the kitchens at all these places.

This trip is highly recommended and iconic expeditions are top of their game to make access to this wilderness seamless and luxurious. A big thank you from me and my wife.

Freddy was really great tour guide. He spotted a lot of animals for us and knew exactly where to go.

We had a perfect combined Safari and Beach vacation in Tanzania. We started our trip in Stone Town where we spent a day exploring. We then flew into the Serengeti to start our Safari.

Over the next 6 days, Freddie, helped us explore the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. His knowledge of the parks and animals was astounding. He was attentive and made sure we had the best opportunities to see wildlife.

After 6 days of Safari we returned to Zanzibar and spent two relaxing days on the beach.

Julia, from Iconic Expedition, planned everything perfectly. All the accommodations were superb.

This was a trip of a lifetime for us. We are very grateful to Julia and Freddie for planning and allowing us to have a spectacular trip in Tanzania.
