At first glance this presents as a viable option for simple prescriptive medicine if you cannot see a primary care physician. The pitfall to this - which is not clear on their website - is that they do not issue prescriptions. They charge for "consultation" which turns out to be less informed and informative than "Dr Google". Every response in a conversation is classed as a separate "consultation" and charged as such.
Or you could subscribe. But that billing isn't informative either so each "consultation" [e-message] could be classed as an "hour". I don't know. The moment i saw a charge being levied for the second message in a conversation my alarm bells went off and I got the hell out of there.
Perhaps in places where there are no options this is a decent service but in the UK it's an over priced rip off. Here you are better served going to the NHS website and making a contact there or signing up to one of the big pharmacy sites.
iCliniq told me nothing I did not tell them in my initial enquiry and provided nothing useful. The medical protocol they recommended & wanted to forward to my own physician [for an additional fee i have no doubt. But why would i want them to forward something to my GP for me to go see them about? If I could get in to see my GP wouldn't i just talk to them without the middle man?] was overdone. No clinician in UK would have prescribed such a huge combination of medications for a simple ailment.
My first message told them I needed a prescription issued and asked directly if they could provide this.
My paid message asked for the prescription again.
At no time did ANYONE respond that they do not issue prescriptions. Not until I pushed it with a full complaint.
It's clear this is a simple tactic to keep you talking and rack up the charges.
I have deleted my account.
If you are in the UK don't bother with this site. There are better options available, cheaper or completely free, who can do more and offer practical help.

UPDATE
Expected soft soap PR Reply that is meaningless.
When someone asks TWICE if a company can issue a prescription and the company representative TWICE fails to answer that direct question the rest is not a matter of conjecture or a failure to read "FAQs"
Add to that consultation information less than that available on easily and freely available sources and medicine recommendations no UK doctor would agree to and the value of this service is simple to judge.

UPDATE
More soft soap PR in the edited reply, but isn't it funny how the apology and thanks only happens now I've gone public, but in private they fobbed me off, and have never once offered a refund for effectively charging me to tell me what I'd already told them while actively NOT answering the question about issuing a prescription?
It is important to note that had they answered that in the response to the "free" initial reply I'd have simply gone elsewhere and not lost a penny. Instead I paid for them to repeat a doctor google answer about a simple dental question at odds with current NHS standard care by recommending over-medication.

Dr. Niazai has been a great help. He is an excellent doctor. His empathy, his professionality, and his clarity in explaining and giving constructive advice make me regret being far from the place where he visits. Thank you very much indeed!

This is great site with good people at the helm. I think they see the plight of patients tied into brick and mortar system entanglements and have a noble effort underway here. It is early in their endeavor and a few bumps along the way can happen be patient. My exp in hindsight was validating in that these folks are professional well intentioned and clear about the moral imperative. The usa has a debacle infected healthcare model, its greed and catasrophizing are the symptoms used to line pockets of private equity owners. Get a 2nd opinion here because the odds are if in usa you will see the same boilerplate confusion their industry is making millions on daily. Didnt want a rant but there it went, sorry for that but grateful for the people at lclinq.

I recently received feedback from my doctor that was truly outstanding. The response was written in simple, easy-to-understand English, which made it very clear for me.
What impressed me the most was how the doctor really took the time to read my query. Their response included everything I had written, showing that they paid attention to my concerns.
Additionally, the reply came quickly, which I really appreciated. Overall, this experience made me feel heard and valued. I'm grateful for such attentive and clear communication!

Been using ICLINIQ for 7 years. Good place to get initial or second opinions at reasonable rates.
Only problem, the doctors you choose from the drop down list are rarely available. If you post queries to the general pool without choosing any doctor, you get a faster response.
Most doctors are empathetic and provide sound medical advice.
Came across one who had zero empathy and provided very idiotic, irrelevant medical advice.
