They don’t even deserve a star!!! Time wasters and not informative. Told phone is worth X but can’t buy it because not locked after testing which passed. I had it unlocked and went back and they said it needs to be tested again. I left it there over night and went back again and they said failed the test. Not sure who does the testing!!! Terrible the way they treat people. They have no value for peoples time and the man I spoke to was awful. Avoid at all costs!!!

I odered a phone from cex afue days later my phone came with another both with my first name and last name and my full adress one was mine and was confused to what the other one was cex emailed more then one occasion I got back to them when I got the change I felt insulted they kept email me when I have been busy with my child and being pregnant ones I emailed them back 3 hours later I had a guy come to my door demanding his phone he new my name and my adress telling me cex are scread of him and he's got a hax face I was worried this man freaked me out knowing where I am my name I have a disable child in the house as well as being pregnant with this man on my door step for his post now then this is wired as he lives 2 hours and half away from where I live and he's travled all that way to tell me my name and my adress and demanding this phone and cex can only say sorry and offe3 my £10 then say again iv spoken to my maniger as im still scread of what's happened and not knowing if this man's coming back again to cex saying sorry and offer me £20 when I'm scread not only for my unborn life for my disabled child life aswell and blaming for post office tracking for giving out my details when I know them very well they would never ever give out details

I have to say that their customer service is very good. I purchased an item and when it was received I found it to be broken and extremely dirty. However, having spoken to one of their representatives, they sent me a replacement that was perfect and I also did not have to return the original broken product which saved me so much time. The guarantee that is behind their products is great. I highly recommend their website for retro / collectibles / games, etc.

No problems with this firm. From my experience they are cheaper for X box games when compared with Game.

Never had any issues, the staff are always great, bought a ps4 for a great price, my controller broke after a month and they replaced it for me right away, everything I've ordered online has turned out great and they often have great prices !!

Shocking service from Portsmouth store was told they would buy but had no cash ? We agreed a sale price then to be told that would need to be a bank transfer the next day, 1 week later still no money I contact them to be told my item was faulty then got a petty offer of only 25% the original offer.

I will never use a Cex again

I tried to sell a phone to the store in Edinburgh recently, however i was met with sheer incompetence, apparently it failed all the sim tests, they said none of the sims they tried worked, when i left the store i noticed they had put my sim back in the wrong way, despite there being a picture of a sim and an arrow showing the correct way to insert, when i went back to show them this, they refused to listen to me or accept their mistake, for as long as i can remember i have had issues with the Edinburgh store from selling to buying to returns, Cex generally are ok but id avoid this store, the woman i spoke to was just a joke, i wont be going back

After ordering a VR headset, it was delivered without a cable. I left a poor review. I was contacted by a customer service rep (Sumeet). They liaised with the store and arranged for a new cable and plug to be sent out. I was kept up to date regarding progress, so felt completely looked after.
