IBOSS IS NOT TOUGH

Great job IBoss for being the shitty program you were meant to be. It blocks everything that isn't "school related" Thinking it's actually helping with something. But the schools and owners are stupid.

Very flexible web filter

It's a very flexible web filter. If you don't want a web filter, don't install one. Why would you install one when you don't want one and then complain on here?

I have no desire for a colonic irrigation. And I'm not going to have one just to put one-star reviews on Trustpilot.

I installed this while getting a barbershop haircut that costs a quarter and it is possibly the most diddy ahh extension I have ever seen. After downloading it I can no longer watch Dubai chocolate lababu reviews nor can I watch Adrian explain his friend group. Ts had me runnin all over the place blue in the face lookin like sonic when I found out I can no longer listen to Daisy Bell by Lil Godd or 41 by Blizzi Boi. In conclusion this extension is so bad I needed some effort just to keep myself from crashing out.

Use this in your business, and say goodbye.

There are around 300 students at my school. If iBoss Cloud charges $3 per student each month, that’s $900 every single month—nearly $11,000 a year—just to block websites, many of which are completely harmless or even educational. It’s one thing to block genuinely dangerous or inappropriate content, but when the system aggressively filters anything even remotely outside a narrow range of “safe,” it becomes more of a burden than a protection.

If your company has truly gone this long without a single complaint about your filtering system, that’s honestly hard to believe. Because from where we’re standing, it’s doing more harm than good—blocking access to useful tools, creative platforms, and informative sites for no real reason.

It’s ironic that a service designed to protect and support learning is so often the reason we can’t learn properly online. That $900 a month? It’s being spent to silence, restrict, and limit—not to empower.

It's absolutely horrendous

It's absolutely horrendous. It blocks anything that could even be slightly harmful and sometimes not harmful things at all. It replaces your search when trying to do research with things that you just didn't search up and blocks you from doing schoolwork. It is probably the most useless way of "safe-keeping" the information that students are allowed to see on their Chromebooks. It's not even due to blocking games or anything, it blocks genuine data that me and many other students need for research. It has also changed what I am searching up, I quite literally went to Doritos and then Images for an art class and it blocked it. This program is Geeked.

It's a premium product with premium support

Say what you will about the product, but no other vendor in security, let alone technology, has a support as great as iboss'. iboss cloud itself is a bit expensive, but there's no doubting the amount of features you get with a subscription will all go to use. It's also the easiest platform to implement SSL Inspection/Decryption on when it comes to granularity and effectiveness. Somehow magically SSL inspects HTTP/1.3 too.

Look for a better service provider

I had a bad experience working with their product and alerted them to the same. Their customer support did not help at all which left me more frustrated. I do not recommend their services.
