Stay away from iBlue

Stay away from iBlue.eu (and probably .uk as well).

Had to pay for licences although devices purchased 7 years ago license free. After being threatened that devices would be blocked in their system and because I didn't want to get rid of the devices, I've decided to pay for the (discounted) licences.

After making payment I never received any licence or download link for the new (?) iBlue app. Also not a single reply anymore on my several emails where they replied very fast before purchasing the licences.

In the past they were reliable but looks like they aren't anymore.

As the former official distributor for iBlue devices in the UK through iBlue.uk, we feel it is important to respond publicly regarding the current situation surrounding iBlue.eu.

For several years we supported and supplied these devices to customers across the UK. At the time, we were required to purchase a minimum of 100 devices per month in order to remain an authorised distributor — a target that became unrealistic for many dealers.

Unfortunately, things began to decline when the iOS application was removed and ongoing technical issues were never properly resolved. This was extremely disappointing for us, especially as we had already invested heavily into the platform and were in discussions regarding potential partnerships within the Land Rover Defender market after achieving Tassa registration for the devices.

We also know many customers have experienced problems receiving licences, downloads, responses, or products after making payments directly to iBlue.eu. We completely understand the frustration and disappointment this has caused.

To all previous clients who supported us through iBlue.uk, we sincerely apologise that the situation ended this way for everyone involved. We always tried to provide honest support and professional service throughout our time as a distributor.

We can only speak from our own experience, but due to the issues encountered, we no longer have any affiliation with iBlue.eu and cannot recommend purchasing from them at this time.

SCAM!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using the iBlue product. One of the biggest issues is that they removed the iPhone app, which has effectively made the product unusable for me. This is especially frustrating because the app was available when I made my purchase, and it was one of the main reasons I chose iBlue.

On top of that, they are now asking for payment just to use the product. It feels like I'm being forced to incur additional costs even though I already bought the device. I find it unfair that they are charging extra fees just to access basic functionalities.

I feel that iBlue did not live up to its promises, and the product has fallen far short of the experience and convenience I expected. If you are considering buying this product as an iPhone user, I strongly recommend that you thoroughly research the current situation beforehand, as you might end up feeling as disappointed as I am.

I hope the company addresses these issues soon and offers a solution to those who are affected by this situation.

Unfortunately, things began to decline when the iOS application was removed and technical issues were not properly addressed. This created major problems not only for customers, but also for dealers like ourselves who had built businesses around the platform.

We were extremely disappointed because we had already achieved Tassa registration for the devices and were actively preparing potential partnerships within the Land Rover Defender market. We genuinely believed the system had huge potential before the ongoing issues started.

Like many customers, we also experienced communication problems, unresolved support requests, and concerns regarding licences and product availability. This situation negatively affected both our business and our clients, and for that we sincerely apologise to anyone impacted.

Please understand that we no longer have any affiliation with iBlue.eu and cannot provide support for their current operations. We can only speak honestly from our own experience and advise customers to research carefully before making any purchases.

We have ways to make you pay....

Purchased Ibue product (smart garage opener) from offical seller at a cost of EUR269. Product no longer works. Iblue Support now tell me I have to buy a licence of £115 as my original licence has expired. There was no mention of having to purchase a licence when the original product was purchased - anyway why would it need a licence if it operates off bluetooth to/from my phone as there is no interaction with their cloud based server! A replacement item costs £100 + VAT and includes a life time warrently - which is cheaper than purchasing a new licence. Go figure.
DO NOT BUY IBLUE PRODUCTS.

I want to share my experience with iBlue, a company that I strongly advise against doing business with. In my situation, not only did I pay for their services and never receive any purchase documents, but my money is gone with no services provided, and I couldn't get any support or contact person to address my concerns. Please be cautious and avoid making payments to this company, as they lack professionalism and reliability in their operations, and it seems that once they have your money, it may be gone for good.

Unfortunately, iblue.uk is not our official reseller and has sold products without our permission. He bought them from us for testing.
In such cases, our system suspends the operation of the products due to the lack of a license.
There are 2 solutions for such a case. Purchasing a server license, thus making the product official. Or ordering a new product that comes with a lifetime license.

We would also like to address what appears to be misleading information being posted regarding iBlue.uk.

Based on our experience, we strongly believe some of these comments are being influenced directly by iBlue.eu in an attempt to distance themselves from the growing number of customer complaints regarding licences, missing products, app removals, and lack of support.

To be absolutely clear: iBlue.uk operated as an official UK distributor for years, supplying and supporting customers throughout the UK. We invested heavily into the brand, maintained dealer relationships, and worked extensively with the products before the situation deteriorated.

The statement claiming products were sold “without permission” is completely untrue from our experience and does not reflect the business relationship that existed during the years we operated.

Unfortunately, many customers are now reporting the same issues we ourselves experienced towards the end — including payments being taken without products, licences, or support being provided afterwards.

We can only advise customers to proceed with extreme caution when ordering directly from iBlue.eu. We no longer have any affiliation with them and cannot take responsibility for their current operations.

Never got it working in the end and…

Never got it working in the end and discovered that there was nobody that covers my area for installation. The UK provider seemed to be part time, evening one-man and his dog. Initial comms seemed good at first .....

I'm still waiting for my Iblue

I'm still waiting for delivery of my n° 40116 order dated October 15th. Iblue informs me on November 20th the delivery at the beginning of December. It's now January 16th, no more news. What is certain is that the money is no longer in my account !

Installed in 40 minutes but had a small problem connecting to my wife's phone due to it not being updated to the latest software.
