They Deleted my Previous Review on Trust Pilot

I recently provided a review for a hosting provider detailing the abysmal quality of their service. Little did I know that expressing my dissatisfaction would lead to a harrowing experience with their support and owner.

After my negative review went live, the owner reached out, suggesting that I take a refund and leave their hosting service. From that day onward, my website became a target for relentless hacking attempts. Despite multiple efforts to secure it by adjusting settings and passwords, I was hacked three times. Even with security plugins like Wordfence and Malcare in place, my website's vulnerability persisted.

Upon investigating, I discovered that the support team had accessed my .htaccess files and altered them multiple times. When confronted, they baselessly claimed that I had installed a cracked plugin. To my dismay, I found out that the plugin recommended by the support team, supposedly a genuine GeneratePress theme, was, in fact, a cracked version—uncovered thanks to the Malcare plugin.

To make matters worse, despite two additional complaints, the support team attempted to hack my website again, this time adding explicit and inappropriate content. In total, over 1,248 posts were manipulated. It became evident that these malicious actions were in direct response to my honest review on Trustpilot, exposing the reality of their services.

Despite their claims of providing 24/7 support, my attempts to communicate with them through WhatsApp, where they promised immediate assistance, were met with silence. It seems their commitment to support wavers when faced with actual issues.

In hindsight, I regret not reclaiming my money when the owner offered it. This has been a profoundly disheartening experience, and I caution others to think twice before engaging with this hosting provider.

Upon reopening the ticket, their responses were disheartening. They mentioned working on the API and requested me to wait until 12 PM or later for a resolution. Unfortunately, even after two days of waiting, the problem persisted, and there was no tangible progress on their end.

In conclusion, based on my distressing encounter with Hvoom Domain Registrar, I would strongly advise against using their services. The combination of unexplained errors, unresponsive support, and a lack of timely resolutions makes this registrar a subpar choice for anyone seeking reliable domain management.
