I had a very disappointing experience with HURR.
My order was placed in late November, received on 23 December for a rental through 3 January, and included two dresses.

Both items were not as advertised — the fit, proportions, and length differed significantly from the listings, making them impractical to wear. Despite raising issues promptly and following up multiple times, I received no response from customer support at any point.

Return instructions were also unclear, which added unnecessary friction. Given the premium price, this level of service is unacceptable. I would not rent from HURR again and would caution others, especially for time-sensitive events.

We’ve searched extensively across our customer support system and aren’t currently able to locate any customer service submissions or open tickets linked to this order. That said, we’re very keen to understand what went wrong and to support you further. If you’re happy to do so, please reach out to us at contact@hurrcollective.com with your order number included in the subject line, and our team will look into this as a priority.

On reviewing the order itself, we can see that both items were delivered in advance of the rental start date, in line with the tracking shared at the time. As the rental period began immediately after Christmas, we dispatched early to help mitigate any potential Royal Mail delays. For managed orders, we also always include a pre-paid returns label with all parcels, and return instructions are available within the order page in the app.

We’re sorry again for the frustration caused and would welcome the opportunity to review this properly and help resolve it.

I enjoy using HURR because of the vast…

I enjoy using HURR because of the vast range of clothing and accessories available. Whenever I need something for an occasion, I’m always certain that HURR will have what I’m looking for. The customer service team is also always super friendly and helpful in responding to queries. As a lender as well, I find the process very straightforward and seamless.

Always find something special on Hurr!

I’ve been renting from Hurr for a couple of years now and on the whole absolutely love it.
I love the choice of pieces available and use Hurr over other rental sites mainly because of Hurr Flex - I think this is a fantastic concept, however, not all lenders accept Hurr Flex which sort of defeats the object of paying for it!
I also think the app could do with being more user friendly and simple. It feels clunky and difficult to use which is why I’ve dropped a star from my review.
Overall, I’ve rented some really beautiful pieces from Hurr and would recommend.

This is now the fourth time I used Hurr…

This is now the fourth time I used Hurr and I am never going back to buying a dress! This lets you wear a dress you wouldn’t have otherwise been able to afford, and for such an affordable price. I will add that I have only ever used the “managed” service so I have no experience renting from an individual. The dress, once again, came looking brand new, it arrived early and the included packaging and prepaid label makes it the easiest thing ever to send back.

I love renting from Hurr

I love renting from Hurr - so much wonderful choice and all the lenders are always friendly and helpful too. This is the first rental where I had an issue with fit, but found using the Fit Guarantee very easy and I was even able to arrange another rental in time for my event! I recommend renting to all my friends rather than buying something new.

Worst customer experience of my life

Worst customer experience of my life. They take days to respond to each message and deliberately aim to frustrate you so that you give up. The parcel was sent to my old address despite me updating the delivery address when I placed my order. The Royal Mail tracking information proves that the parcel was rejected by the tenants and immediately returned to sender. Despite me providing this evidence, Hurr refuse to refund me the cleaning fee. The parcel was unopened and the item was unworn, but Hurr would rather cling onto £20 than treat their customers fairly. I will be reporting them to trading standards. Avoid at all costs!!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’re genuinely very sorry for how upsetting and frustrating this experience was, and we understand why it felt unacceptable from your point of view.

We’ve reviewed the order in detail and can see that the lender dispatched the item to the delivery address held on the order at the time of dispatch. Unfortunately, we were unable to see a completed address update in our system before this happened, so the lender fulfilled the order correctly using the details provided in the app.

Although the parcel was returned unopened, genuine costs had already been incurred for preparation, cleaning, and postage. As the lender fulfilled the order correctly, they were paid in full. HURR covered the remainder of the refund directly and absorbed the majority of the cost, with only the £20 cleaning fee retained as part of the payout to the lender to reflect costs the lender had already incurred in preparing and sending the item.

We know this wasn’t the outcome you had hoped for, and we’re truly sorry for the frustration and disappointment this caused.

HURR are always reliable. What I love especially is their no fit guarantee. I am in between sizes, so it’s hard to get it right sometimes, so the no fit guarantee is perfect. I highly recommend!

Hurr rental experience

I've done a couple of rentals now and it has always gone super smoothly and owners have been lovely and my items have been in pretty nice condition.

Options to rent from owners who own the item or managed rentals by places like Selfridges etc.

* Just bear in mind delivery costs when doing a rental as often you'll be responsible for the return delivery cost and as items are valuable it can be expensive (£10 upwards).

Will HURR again

Really enjoyed renting a dress for my cousin's wedding. Great way to have the benefit of a beautiful outfit without it taking up space in your wardrobe. Will certainly use HURR in the future.
