They renewed my subscription after my…

They renewed my subscription after my trial, but the quality of this service is so poor so I decided I have no use of this. They charged the money and I emailed them that I want it cancel because I won’t be using it, they did not remind me of the renewal at all and the communication was not clear, then they sent my a template email despite tons of emails that I have sent them.

HUMALINGO IS A SCAM

Absolutely rubbish service! It didn’t work, was flagged as AI written on every single detector by at least 86%+! I can’t even keep the tone of your normal writing, it completely changes it so it’s no longer at the same standard you wrote it at.
Horrible customer service and when you brought the issue up, each of their responses were just the exact same copy and pasted, they are thieves who refuse refunds for customer dissatisfaction. They took my money and then after I found out the service didn’t deliver what it promises, then I contacted them literally 1 day into my monthly subscription, and they refused to refund me for dissatisfaction and not providing what they promised. Every time I contacted them, they just copy and pasted the same stupid response without justification.
This service is a complete scam! As soon as they have your money they will run off even if their service is insufficient!

Scam Company, dishonest and thieves!

I had a really bad experience with this company. They charged my card and then kept telling me the payment “didn’t go through,” even though my bank confirmed it did. When I tried to get help, they blocked my messages and stopped responding completely.

Overall, it feels dishonest and unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone. In addition to all of that the actual program itself is horrible and unreliable. This is a scam company and you should not trust them tohave your personal financial details.

I want to cancel my subscription

I want to cancel my subscription, but it won’t let me do so via the app. Says account is pending. There is also no way to cancel through Apple Pay. Concerned based on reviews. Please cancel subscription ASAP.

SCAM SYSTEM

Avoid to subscribe to them and to their trial system. They take the money but if you want to cancel, you have to write them manually and they don't answer until 48 hours...
I already write them an e-mail and I'm waiting. This is not a way to do business. So is useless and not clear. I already asked the Bank to block their future payments. But i lost more than 1 hours for make the error to try the service (that does not works well!)

Cancellation

Hi, i’m writing a review in hopes of getting a reply from the company as my email has been ignored. I only wanted a free trial, ended up being charged 40$. All i ask for is a cancellation of my subscription and a confirmation on my email that it was indeed cancelled. As of right now, i have not received a response to my email and i cannot log in on the site. I dont want a refund, just a cancellation. Thank you for your time

Paid $2 for a trial

Paid $2 for a trial. Results were awful. The corrected, "human" copy was nearly unreadable.

Yesterday I was unable to cancel using their app as it says it's still provisioning. Today I can't even log in.

A few days later and I'm updating my review as I was able to successfully login and cancel my subscription. It's possible they were experiencing a temporary bug.

But the results are still poor.

Horrible service

My experience with Humalingo has been horrible.

The business model itself raises immediate red flags. Humalingo advertises a 7-day free trial, but there’s a catch: if you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, you’re charged double what you would have paid if you had simply taken a regular monthly subscription from the start. That alone feels misleading rather than user-friendly.

What made things worse is what happened after I canceled. Despite clearly canceling the subscription, the system either failed to process it properly or renewed the subscription anyway. I was left genuinely confused, convinced I had canceled while yet still being charged.

There are no reminder emails and no warnings about an upcoming charge. On top of that, Humalingo does not offer refunds, even though many comparable AI services do.

In my case, I was charged $40, and then saw that another $40 was scheduled to be taken within the same week. At that point, it stopped feeling like a mistake and started feeling like a scam.

The lack of transparency, poor subscription handling, and absence of basic customer safeguards make this service feel risky to use. Please don't use this company's service.

Scam company, fake reviews, horrible prompts

DON’T USE THIS COMPANIES SERVICES. First off you are better off with just using Chat Gpt to sound more “human”, this AI service makes you sound like a character from a shitty 90’s sitcom. I tried it once and couldn’t even remotely use the prompt it gave me because it sounded awful. Because I used it once, the company refused to give me a refund when it charged me $39.99. I had no indication I would be charged and when I tried to fight it, they denied it and told me I had to pay it. I should have known this website was a scam, they claim they have 12,623 reviews amounting to 4.5/5 stars but their domain name was established on July 7th, 2025??? Thats a pretty impressive amount of reviews for only being around for SIX MONTHS… whats also weird is that there isnt even a place to leave a review on their website…. the first few 5 star reviews on this website were within the same week period (fake reviews) and the remaining have all been 1 star reviews.

I subscribed to a trial expecting the…

I subscribed to a trial expecting the service to deliver what was advertised. However, the platform did not work as claimed and failed to provide the promised service. Despite minimal use on the trial, I was still charged, and my request for a refund was refused.
What was most disappointing was the lack of transparency and responsiveness.

My subscription was not cancelled when I requested it and was only cancelled after I opened a dispute through PayPal.
I would not recommend this service due to misleading claims and poor customer support.

Please just cancel my subscription before I get charged

I just bought the 2 dollar trial to test it out and it's not enough to pass those AI detectors for Canvas like Turnitin. Honest review, I'm not trying to bash but it did not work for me and apparently many others that are giving bad low rated reviews. I had a very very similar problem with a previous user that also purchased the same subscription and I'm trying to cancel as soon as possible but it keeps saying "Subscription management will be available shortly." I really don't want to get billed more than $2 for this app I don't plan on using ever again. Please just let me cancel before I get charged that's all I ask. If you plan on buying it, it is fine for paraphrasing but I don't recommend relying or trusting it fr for humanizing your text to not get detected by AI yk.

SCAM

I used their $2, 7 day trial they then continued renewed my subscription on their own after I canceled it. They charged me $39.99 and continued to say they can’t refund my money even though I am not the one that renewed my account. Straight scam and I hope nobody uses their website or makes an account with them because most likely you will get scammed too.

FRAUD

I signed up for their free trial period. After testing their humanizer program, I decided it was the worst program I have tried. I immediately cancelled the subscription m. Unfortunately, I had to email them to cancel my subscription. Luckily, they responded within 48 hours and confirmed my subscription was cancelled before my free trial period. After the 7 days, I received an email from their team that they renewed my subscription without my permission. I reached back out to the team that cancelled my subscription before my trial period and they took over 48 hours to respond. And they sent a auto nonreply emal stating they cancelled my subscription AGAIN and that I have to wait for the end of my billing cycle.

Update: Thankfully, I was able to get a hold of management. They reviewed my case and issued a refund. I appreciate them taking responsibility and fixing my issue.

super awful results…

I took a weekly humalingo subscription to try it out. The results were so bad, so dissatisfying. Their algorithm is awful. I promptly terminated the subscription. Such a pathetic site. highly suggest to not take their services.

Charged $39.99 for a Trial I Barely Used

I signed up for HumaLingo during the trial period to evaluate whether it genuinely helps with AI detection and humanization. I accessed the platform only on the first day of the trial to test its features and decided it wasn’t a good fit for my needs, so I did not continue using it.

Unfortunately, I missed canceling within the trial window and was later charged $39.99. When I contacted support, my refund request was denied on the basis that I had “actively used” the website. This claim was surprising, as my usage was limited to the initial trial day only.

I also requested to see the usage logs they referenced, but those details were not shared. While the subscription was eventually canceled, the refusal to refund—and the lack of transparency around the alleged activity—was disappointing.

A clearer definition of “active usage,” access to usage logs, or even a reminder before charging would greatly improve customer trust. The tool itself may work for some users, but it did not provide meaningful AI detection avoidance for me, and the support experience left a negative impression.
