Finally got my HBC points
Finally got my HBC points, it took a while and this was the main reason why I shopped at Hudson's. Happy now I have the points, and the items I am also happy with so will continue shopping there

my experience is pretty average. i got some good deals, but there was one time i could not return the product i just bought.
I bought a pair of expensive bathrobes for an anniversary present, only one was delivered. Despite complaining to Hudson's Bay nothing has been done about it, case 06975582. Dreadful customer service. The anniversary is long gone, don't use this company they really couldn't care less about any problems you may have.
Placed a couple of different orders over the holiday, including about 8 gifts and a Christmas tree (which is beautiful). 8/10 quality, 9/10 shipping, but 3/10 customer service. I still don't have my HBC points for all the purchases.
A clerk convinced me to open a HBC credit card and get a further discount.
I did and after the purchase with the temporary card I wanted to pay it off. I was told that the next day would be best.
When I tried to I couldn't and was told to call the credit department. After I was asked many questions I was informed that my answers were not consistent with what they had on file, would give no information on what the problem was and told me to call Equifax.
I explained that I just wanted to pay off my purchase and cancel the credit card I haven't received and they couldn't do that as well.
I have sent 3 letters to two directors at head office and the manager of the store I was dealing with. The manager has sent me a short email saying that he had expedited my issues and nothing has happened. This has happened twice.
I am done with HBC and so is my family. With online stores like Amazon you would think they would be putting more effort into rectifying issues but apparently not.
If I could rate this business lower I would.
Looking at other peoples reviews it is obvious that this is an ongoing issue with HBC and they seem to be cavalier in ignoring it.
On Nov.30 I made an online purchase for about $900.00. The bulk ($580 and change) was used on Visa, the rest with gift cards. When I returned the order, they had the audacity to mail me a GC for the ENTIRE amount. When I requested what I was owed, I was advised it had been returned to my Visa. It had not. I spoke with the rudest, non-comprehending agents, their sups who know as much as them, and even a manager! All I asked is if they could double check their accounting. They have wiped their hands of this. So, as per Visa, I have had to file a dispute in an attempt to get my nearly $600 back. Rude, uninformed employees who put you on hold for 37 min before hanging up etc etc.I been -$600 for nearly 2 months. Please help. order 1105841932

I purchased cosmetics online from HBC Canada for nearly CAD$300.
The very next day there was an ad online that if your purchased for CAD$150 , there would be a free gift. I wrote to customer service at HBC in Toronto asking why I am not entitled to a free gift and have not had the courtesy of a reply. I am a good customer at this store but if their customer service does not have the knowledge of what customer service actually is, then they need to be taught. With the financial problems they are having right now they cannot afford to lose customers but do Customer service actually care? I think not. So goodbye HBC--I will take my business elsewhere where customers are treated with respect.
I probably will not receive A REPLY FROM THEM NOW---this is how they operate --they hide away hoping that there will be no consequences. What a company this has turned out to be,.
