Just spoke to huddle for the 6th time…

Just spoke to huddle for the 6th time to resolve one issue, this guy was especially unhelpful, sounded younger, seemed like he didn't want to help me at all, this company sucks, never even signed up to them and still getting overbilled by them somehow

Very easy payment process

Very easy payment process, I could either pay online via their website or use their BACS. Never had any problems and if I wanted to follow up with their team if payments went through their very fast with replying. Inexpensive and student friendly!

Don’t waste your time and money

They are so hard to work with a make too many errors to be worth paying more for.

If you are just doing gas and electric through them, it is so much simpler and cheaper to just do it through the energy supplier.

As a house we had countless emails from them saying we are overusing, we went online to check an we were in credit.

Absolute rip off

Absolute rip off, I got the Final Statement from them today, to find out they were charging us a daily standing charge for electricity at "Standing Charge (excl. VAT): 338 days @ £3.8494 per/day" and a daily standing charge of gas at "Standing Charge (excl. VAT): 338 days @ £5.2709 per/day", standing charges are normally below 50p!!

Entirely unhelpful

Entirely unhelpful. Endless calls and emails, clear meter readings, but just can't (or wouldn't) correct the bills. Very disappointing.

Huddle utilities worst company in existence and complaint dept

As a landlord tried to close account paid £27.17 back several months ago.I than get an email to pay £47.20 .I than had to send proof of payment.when calling to find out opening time changed from 9.00am to 10.00am spoke to George whom told me £7.00plus late payment of £15 added when i never received any emails wanted to speak to a manager only to be told none available.

Fake bills, switch delays, and false debt threats — avoid Huddle.

I moved into my flat on 12 Apr 2025 with a reading 16251 and Huddle immediately raised a fake £900 bill using wrong estimates. They then blocked my switch to Octopus until that bogus bill was “settled.”

Even after I paid everything up to 11 Jul (reading 16902) and switched on 1 Aug (final 16985) — which matches Octopus’s record — they never issued the promised final bill.

Instead, they’ve sent debt recovery and court letters based on another wrong estimate (17274).

I have all the proofs — bills, readings, and emails. Completely unprofessional and distressing experience. Avoid Huddle at all costs.

Having reviewed your account, we are unable to locate a bill or any correspondence showing an amount of £900. If you could please send any proof of this to info@huddle.uk.com, we would be happy to investigate this further for you.

Our initial objection to the switch occurred because the previous occupants were still in contract with us. Once we were made aware of the change of tenancy in June, the account was updated accordingly. The subsequent request to leave in August was promptly accepted.

From our records, your billing has been based on the following meter readings:

April – 16251 kWh
June – 16796 kWh
July – 16902 kWh
August – 16985 kWh

We bill on a month to month basis. Your July invoice included your mid month meter reading and an estimated meter reading of 17274 kWh up to 31/07/25.

Please note that estimates are not generated by individual companies, they are industry-provided figures known as Estimated Annual Consumptions (EACs), calculated using several factors such as property size, location, and historical usage.

As shown in your August bill, you were subsequently invoiced up to 16985 kWh, meaning the earlier industry estimate was corrected once your actual reading became available.

Based on the records available, we can confirm that you have been billed accurately for your energy usage between April 2025 and August 2025.

A member of our complaints team will also be in touch shortly to review your account, and we hope to resolve this for you as quickly as possible.

Ridiculous interest rate

House got automatically switched to Huddle for a very short period of time (not the company we were going with but that contract didn't start until a month after moving in so we got sent to Huddle for some reason). Bill was somewhere around £12 - now it's suddenly over £120. Granted I should've gotten around to it sooner, but that interest rate is frankly ridiculous.
