Utter 💩
Honestly, avoid like the plague. I had 20+ years in IT and Cyber security and after 2 days have not been able to print a single test page. The online help is awful. Despite subscribing for additional ink the app keeps telling me it's validating or my cartridges are non existent. On the plus point, it was cheap, so when I launch it into the back garden and kick the shit out of it I won't feel it's cost me too much. Bloody awful product! 💩💩💩💩💩💩
HP USED to be a good company
HP USED to be a good company. I bought a hp printer that came with 6 months ink provided. Then they want you to pay a monthly fee for cartridges. What they don’t tell you is if you don’t sign up for their instant ink you Eli not be able to use those ink chartreuse any longer. So I have a black and three colored cartridges I can’t use. Their answer, go buy your own cartridges
Deskjet 2842e = design fail, cannot print
Just bought a HP deskjet 2842e and it's unusable. They've designed the paper input mechanism so poorly that the paper gets pulled in crooked and jammed. Every single time. I haven't been able to get a single sheet to print. I have tried with the paper tray full, 1/2 full, with a few sheets only, and with a single sheet only. I have tried holding the top of the paper and trying to restraighten it as the machine pulls it in. I have jiggled with the paper guide trying to set it ever so slightly tighter or looser up against the side of the paper. Nothing works.
Don’t ever sign up for instant ink
Don’t ever sign up for instant ink
It is a scam they charge you a monthly fee regardless if you need the ink or not
I signed up for 100 pages per month I have been charged for 6 months and haven’t received a single cartridge
Called and spoke to someone who told me this is the way it works
I have canceled but I’m out the money
Trying to reach a complaint team inside of hp but no luck
i bought a HP printer
i bought a HP printer, it has a 6 month free ink with it, which it said i could cancel. i have now cancelled the 6 month free ink and now my printer wont work because i'm not signed up to a ink plan. so not 6 months free but extortion after 6 months. DO NOT BUY.
HP has lost a customer
HP has lost a customer. I purchased a laptop several years ago. I purchased a HP Deskjet printer, and signed up for the Instant Ink. In my opinion, I was being scammed out of money monthly, and I decided to cancel the subscription. I purchased a retail ink before my cancellation. The printer has been shut down due to my cancellation of the subscription. The error states an issue with the ink. I will NEVER buy another HP product. It is trash to me!!
Yearly Instant Ink Program? Think Twice
I signed up for the yearly Instant Ink program, as my printing needs vary widely from month to month. My HP printer failed less than a third of the year, and I chose to replace it with a different brand. As there is a limit of 30 days for a refund, I lost a significant amount of money. Do not sign up for this program unless your printer is under warranty! HP knows exactly what portion of your contract you have used, and could easily offer a 50% return. Instead, you either buy a new HP or you may forfeit almost the entirety of the amount of your contract.
Do not sign up to the instant ink…
Do not sign up to the instant ink program unless you want to pay extortionate amounts for printing.
For 2months I was charged £80 to use a printer I owned. In that time I wasn’t even sent any more ink!!!
Customer service tried to sell me a new printer and did nothing to help.
HP Smart Tank 7301 failed after only…
HP Smart Tank 7301 failed after only one refill of original HP ink. The printer entered a firmware boot loop during a normal print job and has not worked since.
HP acknowledged my experience but declined any goodwill assistance once the warranty expired, offering only paid repair at near replacement cost.
For a printer marketed as a long-term refillable solution, both the durability and post-warranty support are deeply disappointing.
I would leave NO STARS but I have to…
I would leave NO STARS but I have to leave one just so that I can type this and it FEELS GOOD to let people know HOW TERRIBLE HP printer support FALLS SHORT. Our printer won't work and HP does not offer support. THEY ARE THE WORST company in the world for customer service and support. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER HP PRODUCT OF ANY KIND EVER! NEVER!
Piece of crap!
Piece of crap!! Buy the one that uses full bottles of ink. Can’t buy cheaper ink because of their stupid update.
Stupid company
Hi, I'm actually a user of an HP printer, and I'm from an IT background with over 20 years of IT experience. I have been looking for any method of communication to deliver HP this message. I've dealt with so many computer devices and brands, and HP has become the worse vendor I have ever dealt with. Your HP instant ink sucks and you are not even able to properly implement it. I'm subscribed and willing to pay your stupid monthly 5 euros per 50 papers, but still the printer is giving me a stupid error that I need to subscribe to the instant ink thing. I'm really curious how other non-IT users are dealing with this non sense. I'd like to assure you that you will stop your printer business very soon. I will never buy any HP product again. Stupid company.
Supposed to get cash back by buying a…
Supposed to get cash back by buying a certain printer and subscribing. Did that. They sent confirmation of this. Now saying serial number isn't valid and so the promotion won't be paid. SCAM
Don't buy HP printers- unreliable and underwhelming experience
Printer indicates it has run out of black ink so it can't print, all the other color are fine. Replace the black, then printer indicates Cyan needed to be replaced into order to print. Replace Cyan, now the next yellow needs to be replaced in order to print.
Why not just indicate replace all colors.
Side note: Black ink replaced (genuine 963xl cartridge) printer won't let me print in black and white because yellow is low.
Also the XL cartridges indicate 1600 pages for the colors and 2000 pages for black. That is a blatant lie.
God I hate HP. I wish I never bought their stupid product.
The HP Smart Tank 7305 has a flimsy…
The HP Smart Tank 7305 has a flimsy scanner lid which broke and so I had the printer replaced with new one. The issue of installing the printer driver was difficult. I have installed many printer drivers but this was beyond the joke, I had to get HP to install the driver through vision on my iPhone. To scan a document on the computer takes a while to load before you can scan anything. The only good thing about this printer is the two sided printing and large ink tanks. After these bad experience I will never buy HP product again. Not happy!
printer that does not print
It's a bit annoying that the printer refuses to print and keeps on having an orange blinking light. Moreover the support of HP is lousy so incapable of using this damn printer. It is just unjustifiable and one should boycott such companies who do not care for the customers once they have sold their faulty product.
I've had a few HP Printers in my time…
I've had a few HP Printers in my time and none were very good. This one has been with us for four years, no one knows how we've kept it so long. Always a problem of one sort or another. But enough the Printer I have now is going never will I buy HP again.
All in one printer Envy 6030e. Useless.
Never buy a HP Deskjet 4200e
Never buy a HP Deskjet 4200e. Printer blocked with passwords. Will not work unless you buy ink directly from HP. Its a scam.
HP printer no longer will allow non OEM ink. NEVER BUY!
I purchased ink ($30) that was supposed to be compatible with my printer only to be told by HP that the cartridges were counterfeit and my printer was blocked from printing until I purchased HP brand ink ($60).
Must be something new because the ink I removed was not HP.
This is BULLSHIT!
I will never but another HP printer again!
EXCELLENT SERVICE!!
