I find HouseTrip looking for a house for our short holidays. Was a lucky option! We find a serious compromise with the gests and very easy communication with the owner. Sure we will repeat the experience!

Most of the houses on house trip are privately owned and therefore the contact is really personal and nice. We felt welcome and the information on House Trip was clear and correct (although in Spanish). But with a google translator programme we could get a long way.
That is our only tip: make an English version of the website.

The location and the support privided bay Housetrip was excellent

I spent 5 days in Paris, the apartment is so nice. It is perfectly located, you can go walking wherever. Samuel is a very nice person, he took care of everything and has the apartment perfect for 3-4 people. I strongly recommend this place to have a lovely stay in Paris.

everything was perfect, clean and nice. Great location near a subway station. The host took his time to thought in every detail to make our stay more enjoyable.

The first booking we made was cancelled by the owner by email. The owner asked us to officially cancel the booking with HouseTrip which meant we would lose some of the money we paid. When we contacted the HouseTrip Customer Service, we got no reassurance of what would happen and were told to wait until the owner confirmed the cancellation before we could find alternative accommodation or get our money back. Customer Care was really slow to respond and after waiting for more than a week during which we made several phone calls, the owner finally had the decency to respond and confirm the cancellation with HouseTrip. No help was made to find alternative accommodation and the 10% discount offered to compensate for the all the problems we had with the first owner was never received. Fortunately the owner of the second apartment we booked was lovely but this is the first and last time we will be booking with HouseTrip

Fantastic location

Traveling with a teenager, this was a great options for us as she slept on the sofabed in the living room area. We loved being in an apartment, being able to get up in the morning and make coffee and enjoy breakfast .The washer in the room was a great plus to do some laundry. The location was excellent, right on Las Ramblas and very accessible to everything in Barcelona. The apartment felt safe and comforatble. The staff was excellent and helped with a lot of information. Excellent location and a discreet place. Easy to get right next to the metro stop Liceu. A lot of restaruants and nearby shopping and easy access to the transport system, we were able to easily get around anywhere we wanted. Definintly We recommend this apartment to all travelers.
