Brilliant experience with House Clearance Scotland Ltd
We had a brilliant experience with House Clearance Scotland Ltd.
From the initial phone call to Alfie at 7:15am, his guys Declan & Gary were on site by mid morning and our property was emptied by mid afternoon.
A very professional company, with great communication throughout. Not only did they remove the furniture, the property was vacuumed and cleaned before their departure.
Will definitely use Alfie & the team if required in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

one of the best decisions I’ve ever made
I can’t fully explain the impact Alfred and his team had on my life when I was at my lowest point last year. They aren’t just clearance experts; they took me through my own personal hell and out the other side. In the midst of bereavement, divorce, and a personal financial crisis, Alfred went above and beyond. He showed me that what seemed impossible and daunting, was possible and within my control.
He understood exactly what I could and couldn’t handle when it came time to clear my mum’s flat. And the job they did in clearing (and cleaning!) it was stellar.
A huge amount of experience and knowledge has given Alfred a wisdom about dealing with bereavement clearance that I never expected from anyone.
Whatever type of clearance it is, don’t think of using anyone else. Seriously.

I would highly recommend House Clearance Scotland, I was very time limited and feeling overwhelmed at the amount of work needed to clear out my late fathers home, but as soon as I spoke to Alfred a huge weight was lifted. He was kind, understanding and reassured me it would be no problem. Because of the very short notice he just asked for a few pictures of what was to be removed and then quoted me a very reasonable price considering how much work was involved. His team arrived on time and were very respectful and professional, they worked hard and had everything done in a couple of hours. I couldn't be there and had a family member there but Alfred kept me in loop sending photographs throughout the process. I am very grateful to Alfred and his team, I think they are genuine honest and very trustworthy. It's more than clearing a house, its clearing away stress.

After my parents passed away, clearing their house was both a physical and emotional challenge. Furniture removal and house cleaning
Very fast response from my initial request. They visited the property the following day to give me a quote and the furniture removal happened within a week of my initial phone call.
Did a great job of handling large furniture pieces and cleaning the house afterwards.
Alfred kept me informed of when they were going to be at the property and with regular updates on how the job was going, as I couldn't be there when they were.
Very friendly and helpful service throughout as they cleared my mother's house before it was sold, and none of the furniture went to landfill.
I highly recommend them.

Alfred was fantastic viewing the house in Auchterarder within two days of my request and arranging clearance two day later. Saved me a lot of problems. The house, garage and shed were thoroughly cleared and despite poor weather everything was left neat and tidy. Couldn’t ask for more. Would highly recommend this company.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone. Albert and his team kept in touch through out the process. They did in less than a day what I think would have been days worth of work and hardship for myself and my sister. Everything was made so much easier and the fact that it’s all recycled/repurposed is a bonus.

Outlandish quote
Whilst this company’s communication and response was good, they massively inflated their quote, in my opinion to a ridiculous level and looking to exploit my circumstances. I got an English company to do a cracking job in half the time and for nearly a QUARTER of the cost Alfred quoted.

The timeframe provided was up to 14 days for completion, with the understanding that we were able to work without interruption, the project could be completed in around 7 days.
Our quotes reflect the high standard we maintain,which includes identifying, grading what can be reused, donated, including responsible recycling. All our technicians are fully trained on all accepts of health and safety for the dangers associated with your clearance.

Perfect clearing and cleaning of a flat

House Clearance Scotland have been absolutely phenomenal! Kind and understanding, they clearly knew that getting a clearance for a loved ones house can be hard. The communication throughout the whole process from Alfred was excellent. The team did an outstanding job. They had their work cut out for them in my parents house which was filled with 40 years of stuff! They worked so quickly and efficiently.
