The button is called 'Booking Proof' and solves all check-in related protocols by possible clueless front desk staff. Please remember that day use bookings are new experiences for hotels accustomed to night stays and despite all our constant training, some staff don't assimilate new products and services... Great dayuse value
I had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Ideal location (close to bus stop and tram). The room was clean and have enough space. Great value for the price being almost half of the usual rate if booked for an ocernight stay.
The staff who assisted was friendly and accommodating.
One minor downside is that despite indicated that the booking is from 10am, the room was not ready until past 11am (which is their check out time). So the hours of stay was reduced.
Overall, great stay.

Update: Hotelsbyday read my original review and promptly responded with actionable steps to resolve future issues. Prompt response and great customer service goes such a long way with me. I do plan to continue using their services.
The hotels stated they can't honor the booking through hotelsbyday and had cancelled our reservation. Thankfully the 2nd hotel we reserved found us a room but stated they also recommend checking in sooner than suggested on the hotelsbyday app because if they get full, they also won't honor hotelsbyday bookings. We didn't get notified prior to arriving so it was a bit fruatrating.
