If you really need backup support from…

If you really need backup support from staff who really do know what they doing then these are my choice. I've been with them for about 10 years I guess, and while I'm just a small operator the service is spot on! You don't have to have multi sites (I do) but even 1 done properly can make you money. Loads to choose from and lots of help. 5 Stars yet again.

Really mixed experiences

Really mixed experiences. On the plus side, Hostpresto are really responsive, which is a phase shift from my former hosts. And they are generally competent at resolving issues.

On the minus side, they create lots to be responsive about! The worst example is their "managed hosting" for our NodeBB forums. These have been hitting 502 errors every month or two, which HostPresto responsively fix each time I point them out.

Yet even after over a year, HostPresto are incapable of addressing the issue *before* it crashes our site, or noticing the error when it happens and fixing it without my involvement, or even notifying me when the site goes down. They have repeatedly committed to monitoring the issue (which is on their own servers) and repeatedly failed to do so.

As such, I am actively seeking a replacement managed host who can quietly take care of such issues, without requiring my regular interventions.

Unfortunately, I'm well aware that many hosts are significantly worse than HostPresto.

Painless migration

I had to migrate to a new domain service after more than 25 years with my previous host. I wasn't looking forward to the prospect with all that technical stuff to deal with. I shouldn’t have worried, HostPresto! sorted everything out within two days. Fantastic support service with a control panel that is out of this world.

Excellent service from HostPresto

We rarely have issues with our HostPresto account, but when they occur they have always been resolved very quickly (usually the same day).  I'm very happy with the service.

HostPresto fix the problem - no drama

HostPresto don’t just give you a weblink so you can fix the problem yourself, they fix the problem! Their advice is also simple and quick.

This is worth a huge amount. Most people can find a link themselves. In a busy day I don’t have the time to do this and go through the learning curve needed to get it fixed. Worth their weight in gold!

Decent Product, Price and Support

My previous hosts both ended up selling out to godaddy which was a terrible service and very expensive for what it was and usless support. So, had to hunt for a new independant UK host and came across HostPresto.

Products are good and the price is fair. Had some issues over the years but support is always pretty quick and efficient and actully tell you what the problem was, which is a nice touch.

All round very pleased and currently have nothing negative to say.

Outstanding technical support

The initial response to my support ticket was from an AI bot. It was an excellent response with useful and relevant advice. However it did suggest that it may be worth submitting it to a technician which is what I did. The technical support team responded very quickly and resolved the matter to my complete satisfaction.
We moved our domains and hosting to Host Presto because of their reputation for excellent technical support and customer service and they continue to deliver!
