Undisclosed ASN-Based IP Reputation Issues Affecting VPS Services
Although the VPS servers are physically located in the advertised regions such as Amsterdam and Germany, the provider operates all these locations under a single ASN (AS57043). This causes serious compatibility issues with many services that rely on ASN-based reputation and trust systems rather than public GeoIP databases. As a result, the VPS IPs are blocked or restricted by platforms such as Google Gemini AI, IPTV services, and online games like Clash of Clans, even though the IPs appear clean and properly located in RIPE, AbuseIPDB, Talos, and VirusTotal.
Support confirmed that VPS IP allocation is fully automatic and that IP replacement is not possible for VPS services, and Lucas from support team said: "Maunal work will cost 10 euros for each". There are also no plans to change the network structure or offer alternative solutions. Most importantly, this limitation and its potential impact on service accessibility were not disclosed or clearly communicated before purchase, leaving customers to discover the issue only after deployment.
While support responses were polite, no practical resolution was provided. Users who require clean, widely accepted IPs for AI platforms, streaming, or gaming should be aware that this VPS offering may not be suitable despite the advertised server locations.
Edit : In response to their reply (25/12/30) - after my lengthy explanation of the problem in the past two days to the support team, it was transferred to the NOC department and this was their only response.

They just admitted their "engineers" can't even upload an ISO file to install the system on the machine. I purchased a dedicated server, and after waiting for two hours it was still “installing,” so I contacted support. They told me there was a problem with the ISO installation. I waited, but NOTHING. So I told them to give me the machine without the ISO, and they agreed. They’re completely incapable, can’t even handle the basics of system administration. Unbelievable. I can just image how the security is.
EDIT: They won’t give me a refund even if it's refundable according to their Terms of Service, but under my EU consumer rights, they should. Since they haven’t reversed the transaction, I’ve contacted my bank to request a refund and report the transaction. If I still don’t get a resolution, I will report the issue to the local authorities.

Hostkey has been holding my €700 refund request since July — still unresolved.
On 11 December 2025, Hostkey stated in writing that my refund would be completed “tomorrow after verification.”
No refund was received. No further response was provided.
This confirms a pattern of false assurances, repeatedly delaying the refund, and continuing to withhold my €700 for months without resolution.
Customers should be extremely cautious when dealing with refunds here.

Refund has now been received in USDC and the issue has been resolved.
However, the process took several months and required significant follow-up.
