I was able to tremendously upsize my servers, it was hassle free, and much much less expensive than where I came from. Communication has been excellent, uptime 100 percent. Scheduled maintenance was communicated in advance and didn't cause any disruptions. I was a little nervous at first - given the pricing, I was afraid of getting what I paid for. What a pleasnt upside surprise. 100 percent recommend.

Great experience using Hostinger when building my website.

I made the most ridiculous decision when trying to find hosting for my new project. I used ChatGPT, who recommended I used Hostinger. Why why why why why why WHY did I listen to ChatGPT?!?!?

I am down £64.66 that has been stolen from me via Hostinger. I signed up for 12 months of web-hosting. You're forced to sign up for long periods or you'll pay a SIGNIFICANT surcharge. I then went on the create a wordpress website for my new project. As I was still on the hostinger website, Lastpass accidentally re-wrote my Hostinger password as my new wordpress website. Not a problem, or so I though.

I went to the 'forgot password' option. Upon typing in my email, no reset password email is sent. Obviously this is the correct email as I still have my three welcome emails. Next stage is to click 'Can't access your account'. Problem is, none of the options are relevant. Therefore, my account is blocked, within 2 hours of signing up. The only way to recover your account is to send them personal documents, including payment invoices, government ID, etc. All of that as their 'reset password' feature does not work?

Oh, also, you cannot reach out to customer service, as the website is ran by an ai robot called 'Kodee'. The ai bots response to my troubles was: 'I'm truly sorry you're feeling this way. Your feelings matter, and you're not alone. If you're struggling, please reach out to someone you trust or a mental health professional—they can help you through this difficult moment.'

A mental health professional won't refund my £64. Nor will Hostinger's customer support team, as such a team does not exist. Now I'll have to reach out to my bank to dispute the transaction as I've exhausted every other avenue.

UPDATE: Finally, after 12 hours, they've finally understood that you can't reset your password on their website and refunded me. Although my money is now captive for 5-10 days. If you ever sign up to this website *don't* then make sure you write your password down in 15 different places, as once you lose it, your account is unrecoverable.

Honestly, Hostinger is pulling some of the shadiest tricks I’ve ever seen just to trap people into paying for stuff they don’t want. They are 100% hiding the VPS deletion and account closure options on purpose; instead of just giving you a normal "cancel" button, they bury everything deep in a maze of hidden menus and sneaky auto-renew sliders so you literally can't figure out how to stop them from charging your card. It’s not a careless accident—it’s a calculated move to hold your billing info hostage and force you into keeping a subscription you’re trying to kill. Making users jump through this many ridiculous hoops just to delete a server and close an account is a super scummy way to do business, and I wouldn’t trust them with another dime.

Very poor experience with Hostinger. My domain wasn’t due to expire until the end of the month, and I had already moved my website to another domain well in advance. Despite that, auto-renewal was triggered and I was charged early for a domain that is now completely unused and parked.

What’s worse is that support refused to issue a refund, even after I clearly explained that the domain is no longer in use. Being charged in advance for something I don’t need—and then denied a reasonable refund—feels unfair and misleading.

This situation shows a lack of transparency and flexibility in their billing practices. Customers should be extremely careful with auto-renewal settings, as you may end up paying for services you don’t use with no option for recourse.

The tech support person Desi was very patient and thoughtful with the process that seemed overwhelming to me. She stayed with me step by step. She is a very good communicator.

Small Business Owner in Peril and Stress

When I was connected to a specialist after what seemed like a long wait, it always is when you're having a problem, she was extremely patient, knowledgeable and resolute despite my awful attitude to begin with. Specialists name was Sasa, and she helped me not only get to the bottom of my issue, but also expand my knowledge by explaining to me some of the more complex parts of the resources available, and which ones I was hitting. It is people like Sasa that make me not only want to stay with a service, but invest in it. I am not proud of my attitude towards her to begin with, but I am impressed by not only her technical knowhow, but her incredible way of managing difficult situations and working extremely hard despite the difficult attitude I presented. I am extremely happy with Hostinger after this experience and will fully trust in their product going forward.

As a one man team of a learning platform and online academy, I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Sasa for her incredible work. Thank you again Sasa, and I promise to be more patient and less fiery the next time.

Hostinger is very affordable and provides all the services your site needs without a lot of extra cost. I switched fron Blue Host and I saved $$$$ a year. I highly recommended it .

Faith was knowledgeable and patient. I had been on the chat with AI for 2 hours. Made some progress but not enough to resolve the issues. Once Faith was on board. We were able to move forward. She was very responsive and clear in her answers and directions. Would like to have her everytime I need to chat. Those are very few, but it's nice to have a reliable resource.
